Abstract

Source of latest energy is energy sources non-fossils that can be used, environmentally friendly and could utilized in long period of time. Information on the amount of energy produced can be used as material for the development of the latest source of electrical energy derived from sea water has not been done. Dual In-Line Package (DIP LED) is a first-generation chip-shaped led lamp with the simplest form compared to the other led. The research aimed was to know electrical energy generated by a battery of sea water using aluminum (Al) and copper (Cu) electrodes to turn on DIP LED lights. This research using DIP LED lamp is done with 3 cycles which are arranged in series. The results of this study show the decrease occurred at the voltage of one series of cells with the load, 3 cycles for 8 hours ie the range of 21- 41.10% or 393-863 mV while decrease the flow of one series of cells with load, 3 cycles for 8 hours that is the range of 60.8-93.88% or 5.48-121.3 mA.
