Abstract

Tempe is a typical food that is consumed by many people in Indonesia. The large number of people who consume tempe has an impact on the demand for tempe and the main raw material for tempe, namely soybeans, which has increased. So that the demand for soybeans also increases and the price often soars sharply. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of product quality, price and service quality on tempe purchasing decisions. This study involved 100 respondents and was conducted using the accidental sampling method with the help of instruments in the form of a questionnaire. Then, the data obtained were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis, hypothesis testing through t test and F test. Based on multiple linear regression analysis, the results show that product quality, price and service quality together have a positive effect on tempe purchasing decisions. The results of the t test for product quality, price and service quality variables show that there is a significant influence between each variable on purchasing decisions.

Additional Information: Tempe merupakan salah satu makanan khas yang banyak dikonsumsi masyarakat di Indonesia. Banyaknya masyarakat yang mengkonsumsi tempe berdampak pada permintaan tempe dan bahan baku utama tempe yaitu kedelai mengalami peningkatan. Sehingga kebutuhan kedelai pun bertambah dan harganya sering melonjak tajam. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh dari kualitas produk, harga dan kualitas pelayanan terhadap keputusan pembelian tempe. Penelitian ini melibatkan 100 responden dan dilakukan menggunakan metode accidental sampling dengan bantuan instrumen dalam bentuk kuesioner. Kemudian, data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda, pengujian hipotesis melalui uji t dan uji f. Berdasarkan analisis regresi linier berganda, diperoleh hasil menunjukan bahwa kualitas produk, harga dan kuaitas pelayanan secara bersama-sama berpengaruh positif terhadap keputusan pembelian tempe. Hasil uji t untuk variabel kualitas produk, harga dan kualitas pelayanan hasilnya menunjukan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan antara masing-masing variabel terhadap keputusan pembelian.
