Abstract
This research is based on the low learning outcomes of Indonesian language and the lack of media use in supporting the learning process of students of grade VII SMPN 2 CIRUAS. The purpose of this study is to describe the influence of comic media on student learning outcomes in Indonesian language subjects class VII and also to analyze the attitude of class VII after using comic media in learning Indonesian. This research is quasi experiment research subject of this research is class VII D. instrument used in this research is test instrument in the form of description as many as 5 problem, and non test instrument in the form of observation observation attitude of student of experiment. The hypothesis proposed in this research is improving the ability to write short stories by utilizing comic media. By using a significant level of 0.05 and db 34 obtained t table of 1.7 proven, t arithmetic (17.66)> t table (1.7). Thus it can be concluded that the difference in the average value of initial and final test proven significant. This also proves the hypothesis proposed by researchers in this study, the model of learning comic media in learning to write short stories of students of grade VII D SMP Negeri 2 Ciruas accepted. This means there is influence of the use of comic media in improving the ability to write short stories in SMPN 2 CIRUAS. The conclusions obtained in this study is the result of student learning in the subjects of Indonesian language given the learning by using comic media better than the results of student learning given not using media.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini dilatarbelaangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar bahasa Indonesia dan masih minimnya penggunaan media dalam menunjang proses pembelajaran siswa kelas VII SMPN 2 CIRUAS. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh media komik terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia dikelas VII dan serta untuk menganalisis sikap kelas VII setelah menggunakan media komik dalam pemelajaran bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuasi eksperimen subyek penelitian ini adalah kelas VII D. instrument yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah instrument tes berupa uraian sebanyak 5 soal, dan instrument non tes berupa lembar observasi sikap siswa eksperimen. Hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini adalah peningkatan kemampuan menulis cerpen dengan memanfaatkan media komik. Denganmenggunakan taraf signifikan 0,05 serta db 34 diperoleh t tabel sebesar 1,7 terbukti, t hitung(17,66)>t tabel (1,7).Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa perbedaan rata-rata nilai tes awal dan tes akhir terbukti signifikan. Hal ini sekaligus membuktikan hipotesis yang diajukan peneliti dalam penelitian ini, yaitu model pemelajaran media komik dalam pemelajaran menulis cerita pendek siswa kelas VII D SMP Negeri 2 Ciruas diterima. Hal ini berarti terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media komik dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menulis cerpen di SMPN 2 CIRUAS. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini adalah hasil belajar siswa dalam mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesa yang diberikan pemelajaran dengan menggunakan media komik lebih baik daripada hasil belajar siswa yang diberikan tidak menggunakan media. | |||||||||
