Abstract

Swamp cabbage is a vine, branched a lot, and tap root system. There are two types of swamp cabbage, namely ground kangkong and water kangkong. In the process of Swamp cabbage farming, superior quality tools and materials are needed to produce good and quality Swamp cabbage products, and labor is also needed to help the vegetable production process. The purpose of this study is to analyze the amount of production costs, revenue, income, to what extent the break-even point (BEP) is reached and the efficiency or R/c ratio in kangkong farming. This type of research uses a quantitative descriptive method. Sampling was carried out by census or using a saturated sample (sample taken as a whole), as many as 30 farmers as respondents. The location used is in Neglasari Village, Neglasari District, Tangerang City. From the results of the study it can be seen that the total cost of production of kangkong farming per hectare per season in Neglasari Village, Neglasari District, Tangerang City is Rp.2,871,822/Ha and revenue is Rp.6.144,000/Ha, so the income earned by farmers is Rp. 3.272.178/Ha. The break-even point (BEP) occurs when production is 230 Kg with sales of Rp 689.854 and a land area of 0.11 Ha. The Rc ratio of kangkong farming in Neglasari Village, Neglasari District, Tangerang City is 2.14, so kangkong farming is categorized as efficient or feasible to cultivate because R/c Ratio > 1. Additional Information: Sayuran kangkung merupakan tumbuhan merambat, bercabang banyak, dan sistem perakarannya tunggang. Ada dua jenis kangkung yaitu kangkung darat dan kangkung air. Dalam proses budidaya kangkung diperlukan alat dan bahan yang berkualitas untuk menghasilkan produk kangkung yang baik dan berkualitas, selain itu juga diperlukan tenaga kerja untuk membantu proses produksi sayuran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis besarnya biaya produksi, penerimaan, pendapatan, sampai sejauh mana titik impas (BEP) tercapai dan efisiensi atau rasio R/c dalam usahatani kangkung. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan cara sensus atau menggunakan sampel jenuh (sampel diambil secara keseluruhan), sebanyak 30 petani sebagai responden. Lokasi yang digunakan berada di Desa Neglasari, Kecamatan Neglasari, Kota Tangerang. Dari hasil kajian dapat diketahui bahwa total biaya produksi usahatani kangkung per hektar per musim di Desa Neglasari Kecamatan Neglasari Kota Tangerang adalah Rp2.871.822/Ha dan pendapatan Rp6.144.000/Ha, jadi pendapatan yang diperoleh petani adalah Rp. 3.272.178/Ha. Titik impas (BEP) terjadi pada saat produksi 230 Kg dengan penjualan Rp 689.854 dan luas lahan 0,11 Ha. Rasio Rc usahatani kangkung di Desa Neglasari Kecamatan Neglasari Kota Tangerang adalah 2,14, sehingga usahatani kangkung dikategorikan efisien atau layak untuk dibudidayakan karena R/c Ratio > 1.
