Abstract

The development of students' creative thinking skills has become a matter of great concern today. This study aims to see whether there is an effect of group guidance services with creative problem solving techniques in improving students' creative thinking skills at SMA Negeri 1 Warunggunung. This study used a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental method. This study involved 15 participants who were referred to as the experimental group. The research data was obtained through distributing questionnaires. Data analysis used Wilcoxon test. The results showed that there was an increase in the value of post-test results in the experimental group after being given treatment in the form of group guidance with creative problem solving (CPS) techniques. The Wilcoxon test result is 0.001, the value is <0.05 which means acceptance of the hypothesis. So there is an effect of creative problem solving learning model on the creative thinking ability of class XI students of SMA N 1 Warunggunung. At least there are factors that influence the results of this study. Participants are felt to be able to pay attention to the explanation when the treatment is done well, it can make their creative thinking skills much better than others, such as acting faster than other children, succeeding in making new ways of thinking or approaches, as well as criticizing old ways and initiating new ways.

Additional Information: Perkembangan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa telah menjadi hal yang sangat diperhatikan saat ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat adakah pengaruh layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik creative problem solving dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa di SMA Negeri 1 Warunggunung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode pre-ekperimen. Penelitian ini melibatkan 15 partisipan yang disebut sebagai kelompok eksperimen. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui penyebaran kuesioner. Analisis data menggunakan uji Wilcoxon. Hasil Penelitian menunjukan terdapat peningkatan nilai hasil post-test pada kelompok eksperiman setelah diberikan perlakuan berupa bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik creative problem solving (CPS). Hasil uji Wilcoxon adalah 0,001, nilai tersebut <0,05 yang memiliki arti penerimaan terhadap hipotesis. Maka terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran creative problem solving terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa kelas XI SMA N 1 Warunggunung. Setidaknya ada faktor yang mempengaruhi hasil penelitian ini. Partisipan dirasa dapat memperhatikan penjelasan pada saat treatment dilakukan dengan baik, hal tersebut dapat menjadikan kemampuan berpikir kreatifnya jauh lebih baik dibandingkan dengan yang lainnya, seperti bertindak lebih cepat dari pada anak lain, berhasil membuat cara berpikir baru ataupun pendekatan, serta mengkritisi cara lama dan menggagas cara baru.
