Abstract
To achieve a mathematics learning goal, it is necessary to understand a mathematical concept to make it easier to determine a solution. However, in class learning there are still difficulties in achieving these learning objectives. One of the difficulties of students occurs because of the existence of learning obstacles for students known as Learning obstacles. This research design uses a qualitative method with Didactic Design research which is passed through three stages, namely didactic situation analysis, metapedidactic analysis, and retrospective analysis. The subjects of this research were divided into two. First, students who have received material on the surface area of cubes and beams, in this case, class IX of Pariskian Islamic Junior High School. Second, students who have not received the material and will be given the implementation of didactic design of the concept of surface area of cubes and beams. In this case, class VIII of Pariskian Islamic Junior High School. Data collected through the initial and final TKR test methods and interviews with math teachers. Based on the implementation of the didactical design given, the didactical design of the concept of surface area of cubes and beams is able to minimize the learning obstacles that appeared before. However, there is a need for improvement in this didactic design because there are shortcomings that occur during the learning process with didactic design so that the next learning outcomes will be more optimal.

Additional Information: | Untuk tercapainya suatu tujuan pembelajaran matematika perlu untuk memahami suatu konsep matematika agar lebih mudah dalam menentukan solusi penyelesaian. Namun pada pembelajaran dikelas masih terdapat kesulitan untuk mencapai tujuan pembelajaran tersebut. Salah satu kesulitan siswa terjadi karena adanya hambatan belajar bagi siswa yang dikenal dengan Learning obstacle. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan penelitian Desain Didaktis yang dilalui dengan tiga tahapan, yaitu analisis situasi didaktis, analisis metapedadidaktik, dan analisis retrospektif. Subjek penelitian ini dibagi menjadi dua. Pertama yaitu siswa yang sudah menerima materi luas permukaan kubus dan balok, dalam hal ini yaitu kelas IX SMP Islam Pariskian. Kedua yaitu siswa yang belum menerima materi dan akan diberikan implementasi desain didaktis konsep luas permukaan kubus dan balok. Dalam hal ini kelas VIII SMP Islam Pariskian. Data yang dikumpulkan melalui metode tes TKR awal dan akhir serta wawancara kepada guru matematika. Berdasarkan implementasi desain didaktis yang diberikan, desain didaktis konsep luas permukaan kubus dan balok mampu meminimalisir learning obstacle yang muncul sebelumnya. Namun perlu adanya perbaikan dalam desain didaktis ini karena terdapat kekurangan yang terjadi saat proses pembelajaran dengan desain didaktis sehingga hasil pembelajaran selanjutnya akan lebih optimal. | |||||||||
