Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the application the biodiversity module based on a contextual scientific approach through the use of local fruits on the learning outcomes of class X senior high school students. This study used a experimental method with a population of all X grade students of SMAN 6 Serang City consisting of 2 class samples, namely XMIPA 10 class as the control class and X MIPA 11 as the experimental class. The results showed that the average value of cognitive abilities of experimental class students was 81.75 and the average value of cognitive abilities of control class students was 77.65. The average value of affective ability of experimental class students is 85.025 and control class is 83.125. The psychomotor abilities of experimental class students get an average value of 87.275 and the average value of the psychomotor abilities of the control class is 80.775. The results of the influence test using the T test with the IBM SPSS Statistics 25 application for affective results obtained a significance value of 0.12>0.05. The effect test for cognitive and psychomotor results using the Mann Whitney test obtained a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, it can be concluded that the learning outcomes in the cognitive and psychomotor domains have an effect on the application of contextual scientific-based biodiversity modules through the utilization of local fruits on the learning outcomes of class X high school students.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan modul keanekaragaman hayati berbasis pendekatan saintifik kontekstual melalui pemanfaatan buah-buahan lokal terhadap hasil belajar siswa SMA kelas X. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian eksperimen murni menggunakan desain penelitian pretest postest control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa kelas X SMAN 6 Kota Serang. Sampel penelitian ini yaitu kelas X MIPA 10 sebagai kelas kontrol dan X MIPA 11 sebagai kelas eksperimen. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tes dan non tes berupa lembar penilaian afektif dan psikomotor. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai rata-rata kemampuan kognitif siswa kelas eksperimen yaitu 83,25. Nilai rata-rata kemampuan kognitif siswa kelas kontrol yaitu 77,65. Nilai rata-rata kemampuan afektif siswa kelas eksperimen yaitu 85,025. Nilai rata-rata kemampuan afektif kelas kontrol yaitu 83,125. Kemampuan psikomotor siswa kelas eksperimen mendapatkan nilai rata-rata 87,275 dan nilai rata-rata kelas kontrol yaitu 80,775. Uji pengaruh untuk hasil kognitif dan psikomotor menggunakan uji Mann Whitney didapatkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000<0,05. Hasil uji pengaruh menggunakan Uji T dengan aplikasi IBM SPSS Statistics 25 untuk hasil afektif didapatkan nilai signifikansi 0,12>0,05. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar pada ranah kognitif dan psikomotor terdapat pengaruh penerapan modul keanekaragaman hayati berbasis saintifik kontekstual melalui pemanfaatan buah-buahan lokal terhadap hasil belajar siswa SMA kelas X. Hasil belajar afektif tidak ada pengaruh penerapan modul keanekaragaman hayati berbasis saintifik kontekstual terhadap hasil belajar siswa SMA kelas X.
