Abstract

This study aims to determine the inculcation of the character of caring for the environment through the Kurasaki program for students at SD Negeri Cogreg 1. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach with data sources obtained from the principal, teachers and students. Data collection techniques in this study used observation techniques, interviews and documentation which were analyzed with the reduction stage, data presentation and conclusion. This research obtained results in the form of three important things, namely implementation, supporting and inhibiting aspects, and strategies that can achieve program success. First, the implementation of the program consists of three stages, namely planning, implementation and evaluation. Planning consists of meetings between school principals and teachers and parents, provision of facilities and infrastructure, coordination with traders, school residents and the community. The implementation begins with the teacher socializing and applying habituation to teachers and students, the implementation is divided into two activities, namely routine daily activities and every week. In the daily routine activities in the form of checking the readiness of students such as attributes, nails, lunch boxes and drinking bottles class pickets while weekend activities namely public pickets, joint gymnastics and fun games as well as routine evaluation and giving appreciation to the best class. Second, the supporting and inhibiting aspects of the program are students who have differences in implementing the program, teachers, parents who experience complaints and infrastructure which are in the sufficient category. Third, the key to the success of the program lies in the strategy that was prepared from the start and implemented consistently.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penanaman karakter peduli lingkungan melalui program Kurasaki pada peserta didik di SD Negeri Cogreg 1. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian berupa pedekatan kualitatif dengan sumber data didapatkan dari kepala sekolah, guru dan peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara serta dokumentasi yang dianalisis dengan tahap reduksi, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Penelitian ini diperoleh hasil berupa tiga hal penting yaitu penerapan, aspek pendukung serta penghambat, serta strategi yang dapat meraih keberhasilan program. Pertama, penerapan program terdiri dalam tiga tahapan yaitu perencanaan, penerapan dan evaluasi. Perencanaan terdiri dari rapat antara kepala sekolah dan guru serta orang tua, penyediaan sarana dan prasarana, koordinasi dengan pedagang, warga sekolah dan masarakat. Penerapan diawali dengan guru mensosialisasikan serta menerapkan pembiasaan pada guru dan peserta didik, penerapan dibagi kedalam dua kegiatan yaitu kegiatan rutin harian dan setiap pekannya. Pada kegiatan rutin harian berupa pemeriksaan kesiapan peserta didik seperti atribut, kuku, kotak makan dan botol minum piket kelas sedangkan kegiatan pekan yaitu piket umum, senam bersama dan fun games serta evaluasi rutin dan pemberian apresiasi terhadap kelas terbaik. Kedua, aspek pendukung serta penghambat dalam program yaitu pada peserta didik yang memiliki perbedaan dalam menerapkan program, guru, orang tua yang mengalami keluhan dan sarana prasarana yang dalam kategori cukup. Ketiga, kunci keberhasilan program terletak pada strategi yang disusun sejak awal dan diterapkan secara konsisten.
