Abstract

The purpose of this research intended to described the qualities of students' mathematical dispositions and mathematical literacy in response to PISA-style questions in change and relationship content. This research uses qualitative approaches and also incorporated within the qualitative descriptive research. The 39 students in class 10 MIPA who participated in the research were then reduced to three students to represent the low, medium, and high levels of disposition. The data were gathered using a questionnaire that measures students' mathematical disposition, a written essay test that measures students' mathematical literacy, and direct interviews. The outcome revealed that seven students fell into the low mathematical disposition category, 24 students had medium mathematical disposition, and eight students had high mathematical disposition. On the PISA scale of mathematical literacy, students with low mathematical disposition earn level 2, students with medium mathematical dsiposition achieved level 4 whereas those with strong mathematical disposition obtain level 6

Additional Information: Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kualitas disposisi matematis dan literasi matematika siswa dalam menjawab soal-soal bertipe PISA konten change and relationship. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan juga tergabung dalam penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Dari 39 siswa kelas 10 MIPA yang mengikuti penelitian kemudian dikurangi menjadi tiga siswa untuk mewakili tingkat disposisi rendah, sedang, dan tinggi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan angket yang mengukur disposisi matematis siswa, tes tulis esai yang mengukur literasi matematika siswa, dan wawancara langsung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tujuh siswa termasuk dalam kategori disposisi matematis rendah, 24 siswa memiliki disposisi matematis sedang, dan delapan siswa memiliki disposisi matematis tinggi. Pada skala literasi matematis PISA, siswa dengan disposisi matematis rendah memperoleh level 2, siswa dengan disposisi matematis sedang mencapai level 4 sedangkan siswa dengan disposisi matematis kuat berada di level 6.
