Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is influence either partially or simultaneously on halal variables, price, and halal awareness on buying interest in cosmetic products (a case study of Muslim consumers in Cilegon City). The method used in this research is quantitative. Data collection techniques used were questionnaires and interviews. The object of this research is Muslim consumers in the city of Cilegon who use cosmetic products. The tests used in this study are instrument tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression tests and hypothesis testing (t and f tests). As for the results of the study, it can be seen that the halal label has no positive effect on buying interest in cosmetic products. It can be seen from the results count = 0.698 ≤ t_(table) 1.991 and a Sig value of 0.487 > 0.05. Price has a positive and significant effect on buying interest in cosmetic products. It can be seen from the results t_count=3.380 ≥_table = 1.991 and a Sig value of 0.001 <0.05. Halal awareness has a positive and significant effect on the intention to buy cosmetic products seen from the results t_count=3.302 ≥ t _table=1.991 and a Sig value of 0.001 <0.05. While simultaneously the halal label variable (X1) price (X2) and halal awareness (X3) have a positive and significant effect on purchase intention (Y) as evidenced by the results of the f test, namely the obtained F_count = 12.324 ≥ F_(table) = 2.72 with Significance level 0.00 <0.05. The contribution of the influence of the halal label, price, and awareness on buying interest in cosmetic products (a case study of Muslim consumers in the city of Cilegon) can be seen from the Adjusted R-square value of 30.1% while the remaining 69% is influenced by other factors not examined.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh baik secara parsial maupun simultan variabel halal, harga, dan kesadaran halal terhadap minat beli produk kosmetik (studi kasus konsumen muslim di Kota Cilegon). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yakni kuesioner dan wawancara. Adapun objek penelitian ini adalah konsumen muslim di kota Cilegon yang menggunakan produk kosmetik. Uji yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini adalah uji instrumen, uji asumsi klasik, uji regresli linier berganda dan uji hipotesis (uji t dan f). Adapun hasil penelitian dapat diketahui bahwa Label halal stidak berpengaruh positif terhadap minat beli produk kosmetik dapat dilihat dari hasil thitung = 0,698 ≤ ttabel 1,991 dan nilai Sig 0,487 > 0,05. Harga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat beli produk kosmetik dapat dilihat dari hasil thitung = 3,380 ≥ ttabel = 1,991 dan nilai Sig 0,001 < 0,05. Kesadaran halal berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat beli produk kosmetik dilihat dari hasil thitung = 3,302 ≥ ttabel = 1,991 dan nilai Sig 0,001 < 0,05. Sedangkan secara simultan variabel label halal (X1) harga (X2) dan kesadaran halal (X3) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat beli (Y) dibuktikan dengan hasil uji f yakni diperoleh nilai Fhitung = 12,324 ≥ Ftabel = 2,72 dengan tingkat Signifikansi 0,00 < 0,05. Adapun kontribusi pengaruh label halal, harga, dan kesadaran terhadap minat beli produk kosmetik (studi kasus konsumen muslim dikota Cilegon) dilihat dari nilai Adjusted R-square sebesar 30,1% sedangkan sisanya sebesar 69% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak diteliti.
