Abstract
This study aimed to determine the image of the emotional regulation of adolescents who has a single-parent man. This type of research is qualitative research with a phenomenological study approach. The research place is the subject who resides in Serang city. The data sources of this study are three adolescents who have single parents man caused by death. The data-collection technique used was interviews and observations. The results showed that the picture of emotional regulation in adolescents who had single parents man had not been formed perfectly because the subject was still unable to cope with the emotional problems he was experiencing so it was difficult to control and express emotions appropriately. The implications of this study illustrate the importance of a close single-parent man in adolescents to have good emotional skills.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran regulasi emosi pada remaja yang memiliki orang tua tunggal laki-Laki. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan bentuk pendekatan study phenomenology. Tempat penelitian adalah lingkungan tempat tinggal subjek yang berada di Kota Serang. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah tiga remaja yang memiliki orang tua tunggal laki-laki yang disebabkan oleh kematian. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gambaran regulasi emosi pada remaja yang memiliki orang tua tunggal laki-laki belum terbentuk dengan sempurna karena subjek masih kurang mampu mengatasi persoalan emosi yang sedang dialaminya sehingga kesulitan untuk mengendalikan dan mengekspresikan emosi secara tepat. Implikasi penelitian ini memperlihatkan pentingnya orang tua tunggal laki-laki pada anak remaja untuk memiliki keterampilan emosi yang baik. | |||||||||
