Abstract
Community empowerment strategies are steps or approaches to beneficiary communities in order to achieve the goals and success of community empowerment. This study aims to determine the strategy of community empowerment through the honey bee cultivation business group in increasing family economic independence, by examining the problems of 1) Community Empowerment Strategy Through Honey Bee Cultivation Business Groups in Increasing Family Economic Independence in Sangkanmanik Village 2) Results of Community Empowerment Through Groups Honey Bee Cultivation Business in Increasing Family Economic Independence in Sangkanmanik Village 3) Supporting and Inhibiting Factors for Community Empowerment Through Honey Bee Cultivation Business Groups in Increasing Family Economic Independence in Sangkanmanik Village. In this study the method used is descriptive method and qualitative approach, data obtained from observations, interviews and documentation. The data sources in this study consisted of 6 people, namely 1 chief executive and head of the honey bee cultivation business group and 5 members of the honey bee cultivation business group. The results showed that 1) The community empowerment strategy carried out by the head of the honey bee cultivation business group was (1) facilitating business capital, (2) community awareness, (3) providing knowledge (4) providing motivation (5) group management. 2) The results of community empowerment through the honey bee cultivation business group are increasing family economic resources so that economic and social needs are met, although not yet optimal. 3) Supporting factors in the implementation of community empowerment are human resources, strong motivation and government policies. The obstacles to community empowerment in the honey bee cultivation business are low human resources, weak mentoring, delays in science and technology, and people's attitudes that are still traditional. Suggestions in this research are group leaders as well as activators to increase professional knowledge and skills from various sources. Make flower cultivation for a source of bee food and add to beehive boxes. For the government of Sangkanmanik Village and the LMDH service to increase regular assistance and strengthening to members of the honey bee farming business group.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan strategi pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui kelompok usaha budidaya lebah madu dalam meningkatkan kemandirian ekonomi keluarga, dengan mengkaji masalah 1) Strategi Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Melalui Kelompok Usaha Budidaya Lebah Madu Dalam Meningkatkan Kemandirian Ekonomi Keluarga Di Desa Sangkanmanik 2) Hasil Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Masyarakat Melalui Kelompok Usaha Budidaya Lebah Madu Dalam Meningkatkan Kemandirian Ekonomi Keluarga Di Desa Sangkanmanik 3) Faktor Pendukung Dan Penghambat Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Melalui Kelompok Usaha Budidaya Lebah Madu Dalam Meningkatkan Kemandirian Ekonomi Keluarga Di Desa Sangkanmanik. Dalam penelitian ini metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dan pendekatan kualitatif, data diperoleh dari hasil observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 6 orang, yaitu 1 orang ketua penggerak sekaligus ketua kelompok usaha budidaya lebah madu dan 5 orang anggota kelompok usaha budidaya lebah madu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) Strategi pemberdayaan masyarakat yang dilakukakn oleh ketua kelompok usaha budidaya lebah madu yaitu (1) memfasilitasi modal usaha, (2) penyadaran masyarakat, (3) memberikan ilmu pengetahuan (4) memberikan motivasi (5) manajemen kelompok. 2) Hasil pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui kelompok usaha budidaya lebah madu yaitu meningkatnya sumber ekonomi keluarga sehingga terpenuhinya kebutuhan ekonomi dan sosial walaupun belum maksimal. 3) Faktor pendukung dalam pelakasanaan pemberdayaan masyarakat adanya sumber daya manusia, motivasi yang kuat dan kebijakan pemerintah. Adapun hambatan pemberdayaan masrakat dalam usaha budidaya lebah madu yaitu rendahnya sumber daya manusia, lemahnya pendampingan, keterlambatan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi, sikap masyarakat yang masih tradisional. Saran dalam penelitian ini ketua kelompok sekaligus penggerak melakukan peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan profesionalitas dari berbagai sumber. Membuat budidaya bunga untuk sumber pakan lebah dan menambah kotak sarang lebah. Bagi pemerintah Desa Sangkanmanik dan dinas LMDH meningkatkan pendampingan dan penguatan secara rutin kepada anggota kelompok usaha budidaya lebah madu. | |||||||||
