Abstract

Electricity is an important need now. This is the cause of the increasing need for electricity in the world. To meet the electricity needs of the community, the The Government of Indonesia through PLN has built an electricity network starting from power plants and transmission lines that can supply electricity to people's homes. To reduce power losses along the transmission line, high voltage is used. The use of these High voltages in addition to reducing power losses, also produce an electric and magnetic field around the conducting wire. MENKES/SK/XI/2002 and SPLN 112:119 the limit is 500µT. This has caused anxiety for the community, especially those in the area of Saluran Udara Tegangan Ekstra Tinggi (SUTET). The large the magnetic field around the lead wire has a detrimental impact on the people who live near the transmission line. For this reason, this study is intended to determine the magnitude of the magnetic field around the wire carrying the Saluran Udara Tegangan Ekstra Tinggi (SUTET) and to determine the effect of the magnetic field on the environment. The method used is the method of direct measurement and calculation in theory. From the calculation results, it was found that the largest magnetic field value was 6,91 µT, and from the measurement results obtained, the largest value was 6,163 µT. Still far below the 500 µT threshold allowed by KEPMENKES No. 1405/MENKES/SK/XI/2002 and SPLN 112:1994.

Additional Information: Listrik menjadi kebutuhan yang sangat penting saat ini. Menjadi penyebab meningkatnya kebutuhan akan listrik di dunia. Demi memenuhi kebutuhan listrik masyarakat, Pemerintah Indonesia melalui PLN telah membangun jaringan tenaga listrik mulai dari pembangkit-pembangkit listrik dan saluran transmisi yang dapat memasok listrik ke rumah-rumah warga. Mengurangi rugi – rugi daya disepanjang saluran transmisi, maka dipakailah tegangan tinggi. Pemakaian tegangan tinggi ini selain mengurangi rugi – rugi daya, juga menghasilkan medan listrik dan medan magnet di sekitar kawat penghantar. MENKES/SK/XI/2002 dan SPLN 112:119 menetapkan, yaitu 500 μT. Hal tersebut menimbulkan kecemasan bagi masyarakat, khususnya yang berada di daerah Saluran Udara Tegangan Ekstra Tinggi (SUTET). Medan magnet yang besar di sekitar kawat penghantar menimbulkan dampak merugikan bagi penduduk yang bertempat tinggal di dekat saluran transmisi. Penelitian ini ditujukan guna mengetahui besar medan magnet di sekitar kawat penghantar Saluran Udara Tegangan Ekstra Tinggi (SUTET), dan mengetahui pengaruh medan magnet terhadap lingkungan. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode pengukuran langsung dan perhitungan secara teori. Dari hasil perhitungan didapat bahwa nilai medan magnet terbesar adalah 6,91µT dan hasil pengukuran didapat nilai terbesar adalah 6,163 µT. Masih jauh dari ambang batas yang diijinkan oleh KEPMENKES NO.1405/MENKES/SK/XI/2002 dan SPLN 112:1994 sebesar 500 µT.
