Abstract

Student difficulties in mastering a chemical concept will hinder student abilities due to chemical characteristics that have ideas that are related to each other. In addition, the teaching method used by teachers is still dominated by lecture methods that provide a lot of information in a limited time in class. This study aims to produce learning media Chemo-Edutainment (CET) based Websites using Google Sites on reaction rate material. The development of this learning media uses research and development methods (Research & Development) or R&D with the ADDIE model. The validation results on the aspects of the graphic feasibility component amounted to 0.88, the electronic media feasibility component amounted to 0.87, the presentation component amounted to 0.86, the content feasibility component amounted to 0.84, and the language component (media) amounted to 0.83. The average validation value (V) on each aspect of the assessment is from validators with 5 rater scales and an error probability index of 0.048, namely V ≥ 0.67 so that the statement is valid. The results of student responses on the material aspect amounted to 86.66%, student interest aspects amounted to 86.32%, language aspects 86.17%, and practical aspects amounted to 83.62% so the four aspects of student responses were categorized as very good. The media profile of the development of learning media is obtained by combining learning media between Websites, Google Sites, Chemo-Edutainment (CET), PBL learning models, Kahoot!, chemistry learning can be more engaging, fun, and effective.

Additional Information: Kesulitan siswa dalam mengusai suatu konsep kimia akan menghambat kemampuan siswa yang diakibatkan oleh karakterisitik kimia yang memiliki konsep yang silih berkaitan antara satu sama lainya. Selain itu, metode pengajaran yang digunakan guru masih didominasi metode ceramah yang memberikan banyak informasi dalam waktu yang terbatas di kelas. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan media pembelajaran Website berbasis Chemo-Edutainment (CET) menggunakan Google Sites pada materi laju reaksi. Pengembangan media pembelajaran ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan (Research & Development) atau R&D dengan model ADDIE. Hasil validasi pada aspek komponen kelayakan kegrafikan sebesar 0.88, komponen kelayakan media elektronik sebesar 0.87, komponen penyajian sebesar 0.86, komponen kelayakan isi sebesar 0.84, komponen kebahasaan (media) sebesar 0.83. Rata-rata nilai validasi (V) pada setiap aspek penilaian tersebut dengan 5 skala rater dan indeks peluang eror 0,048 yaitu V ≥ 0,67 sehingga keterangannya valid. Hasil respon siswa pada aspek materi sebesar 86.66%, aspek ketertarikan siswa sebesar 86.32%, aspek bahasa 86.17%, aspek kepraktisan sebesar 83.62% sehingga keempat aspek respon siswa dikategorikan sangat baik. Profil media dari pengembangan media pembelajaran ini diperoleh dengan mengkombinasikan media pembelajaran antara Website, Google Sites, Chemo- Edutainment (CET), model pembelajaran PBL, Kahoot!, pembelajaran kimia dapat menjadi lebih menarik, menyenangkan, dan efektif.
