Abstract
The research is motivated by the need for understanding in drama scripts such as understanding the dramatic structure which is the main component of the script, using a drama script entitled Krakatoa by Mahdiduri which has an interesting story. It tells the story of the eruption of Krakatau in Banten so that there are various moral messages and has become a local Banten archive book that must be preserved but it seems that the existence of the drama script 'Krakatau' is still lacking in information and publications. So there is a goal in this research, namely to identify the process of creation and dramatic structure in Mahdiduri's drama script "Krakatoa". The research method used is descriptive qualitative research method. Data collection techniques through literature, observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this research are eighteen characters and two acts in Mahdiduri's play "Krakatoa". Simultaneously with how to find out the source of the author's self-rest, the story is then developed through the theme, namely krakatau with a moral message about the awareness of the Krakatau disaster which could occur at any time. Furthermore, there is a story that is so complex that it shows a dramatic structure in the drama script "Krakatoa" which consists of delicious stages, namely exposition, incident, growth, crisis, resolution, and decision.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian dilatar belakangi oleh perlu adanya pemahaman dalam naskah drama seperti memahami struktur dramatik yang merupakan komponen utama pada naskah, dengan menggunakan naskah drama berjudul “Krakatoa” karya Mahdiduri yang memiliki cerita menarik. Mengisahkan peristiwa letusan Krakatau di Banten sehingga terdapat berbagai pesan moral serta telah menjadi buku arsip lokal Banten yang harus dilestarikan namun nampaknya keberadaan naskah drama ‘Krakatoa” masih kurang informasi dan publikasi. Maka terdapat tujuan dalam penelitian yaitu mengidentifikasi proses penciptaan dan struktur dramatik pada naskah drama “Krakatoa” karya Mahdiduri. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui studi pustaka, observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini terdapat delapan belas tokoh dan dua babak pada naskah drama “Krakatoa” karya Mahdiduri. Bersamaan dengan cara mengetahui sumber cerita berasal dari keresahan diri pengarang lalu dikembangkan melalui tema yaitu krakatau dengan pesan moral tentang kewaspadaan bencana Krakatau yang bisa terjadi kapan saja. Selanjutnya terdapat isi cerita yang begitu kompleks menunjukan stuktur dramatik pada naskah drama “Krakatoa” yang terdiri dari enak tahapan yaitu eksposisi, insiden, pertumbuhan, krisis, penyelesaian, dan keputusan. | |||||||||
