Abstract

The background of this research is the fluctuation in sales of The Farmhill Premium Hydroponic Melon in the 2020 period. This decline shows that there is intense competition and differences in consumer perceptions of The Farmhill Premium Hydroponic Melon products, so that it can be formulated in this study that what is the characteristics of consumers and how are consumers' perceptions of the quality of the Farmhill Premium Hydroponic Melon Fruit products. This study aimed to determine consumer characteristics and perceptions of the quality of the Farmhill Premium Hydroponic Melon Fruit products. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method. Data were collected by questionnaire technique. Respondents in this study were 50 people with the criteria of the people of Jakarta who had bought or consumed The Farmhill melon at least two times. The research hypothesis was tested using Multiple Linear Regression Analysis. The research results show that Product Reliability, Product Conformity, and Product Appearance are significantly related to consumer perceptions. Product Conformity also influences consumer perception more than Product Performance, Product Reliability, and Product Appearance Beauty.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh naik turun nya penjualan Melon Hidroponik Premium The Farmhill pada periode tahun 2020. Penurunan ini menujukkan adanya persaingan yang ketat dan perbedaan persepsi konsumen terhadap produk Melon Hidroponik Premium The Farmhill sehingga dapat dirumuskan dalam penelitian ini bahwa bagaimana karakteristik konsumen serta bagaimana perssepsi konsumen terhadap kualitas produk Buah Melon Hidroponik Premium the Farmhill. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui karateristik konsumen serta persepsi konsumen terhadap kualitas produk Buah Melon Hidroponik Premium the Farmhill. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Data dikumpulkan dengan teknik kuisioner. Responden dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 50 orang dengan kriteria masyarakat Kota Jakarta yang pernah membeli atau mengkonsumsi melon The Farmhill minimal 2 kali. Hipotesis penelitian diuji menggunakan Analisis Regresi Linear Berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Keterandalan Produk, Kesesuaian Produk, dan Keindahan Tampilan Produk mempunyai hubungan signifikan dengan persepsi konsumen. Kesesuaian Produk juga berpengaruh lebih tinggi terhadap persepsi konsumen daripada Kinerja Produk, Keterandalan Produk, dan Keindahan Tampilan Produk.
