Abstract
In Indonesia, parents still often feel taboo in discussing sex knowledge with their children because children have a high level of curiosity, so parents are worried if their children imitate sexual behavior, in this case the mass media is very important in children's learning to get the necessary knowledge. This study aims to determine the relationship between social media Tiktok and knowledge of sex education in children. The research method chosen is descriptive quantitative with a correlation research approach. Based on the results of the preliminary research that the researchers did, it is known that many students have Tiktok social media. This research was conducted at SDN Kutabumi I, II, III and IV involving 145 samples. The results showed that 62% of students had an intensity towards using social media in Tiktok and 60% of students had an understanding of sex education. The results of the correlation test obtained an R value of 0.547, which means that there is a relationship between social media Tiktok and knowledge of sex education. There is the role of Tiktok social media on sex education knowledge of 0.300, meaning that Tiktok social media relations have contributed 30% to sex education.

Additional Information: | Di Indonesia orang tua masih sering kali merasa tabu dalam membahas mengenai pengetahuan seks kepada anaknya disebabkan anak mempunyai tingkat rasa keingintahuan yang tinggi, sehingga orang tua khawatir jika anaknya meniru perilaku seksual, dalam hal ini media massa sangat penting dalam pembelajaran anak untuk mendapatkan pengetahuan yang diperlukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan media sosial Tiktok terhadap pengetahuan pendidikan seks pada anak. Metode penelitian yang dipilih adalah kuantitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan korelasi (correlation research). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian pendahuluan yang peneliti lakukan diketahui banyak siswa yang memiliki media sosial Tiktok. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SDN Kutabumi I, II, III dan IV dengan melibatkan 145 sampel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 62% siswa memiliki intensitas terhadap penggunaan media sosial Tiktok dalam kategori tinggi dan terdapat 60% siswa memiliki pemahaman mengenai pendidikan seks dalam kategori tinggi. Hasil uji korelasi didapat nilai R sebesar 0.547 yang artinya terdapat hubungan media sosial Tiktok dengan pengetahuan pendidikan seks. Terdapat peran media sosial Tiktok terhadap pengetahuan pendidikan seks sebesar 0.300 artinya hubungan media sosial Tiktok memiliki kontribusi sebesar 30% terhadap pendidikan seks. | |||||||||
