Abstract

The background of this research is the problem of unemployment and the difficulty of getting a job requires people to find solutions to improve their welfare. Like the welding training participants at BBPLK Kota Serang, they attend training with the aim of improving their standard of living. By participating in the training, participants can increase their knowledge and understanding of welding techniques, foster entrepreneurial independence, be able to compete in the world of work, and have the skills to weld. This study aims to determine the implementation of welding training in fostering the entrepreneurial independence of the VI (2019) training participants at BBPLK Serang City, to find out the results of welding training in fostering the entrepreneurial independence of the VI (2019) training participants at BBPLK Serang City, to determine the supporting factors and a barrier to welding training in fostering entrepreneurial independence for the sixth batch of training participants at BBPLK Serang City. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method, where data is obtained from observations, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects were a Head of Section of Empowerment, two instructors, and eight participants of the VI wave welding training (2019). The results of this study indicate that: (1) Implementation of training at BBPLK Serang City in fostering entrepreneurial independence has gone well. This is evidenced by the appropriateness of the use of methods, strategies, materials, instructor competence, infrastructure, facilities, and media used in the implementation of welding training. (2) the results of welding training in fostering entrepreneurial independence for the sixth batch of training participants at BBPLK Serang City have been able to foster participant entrepreneurial independence, it can be seen from participants who are able to become entrepreneurs after participating in welding training as well as improvements from cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects. With this ability, it can be useful to live independently and be ready to enter the world of work because of the increased knowledge and broad insights. An attitude of confidence, responsibility for the task given and discipline, as well as provisions for entrepreneurship. (3) supporting and inhibiting factors for welding training in fostering the entrepreneurial independence of the VI (2019) welding training participants at BBPLK Serang City. The supporting factors of the implementation of welding training in fostering the entrepreneurial independence of participants at BBPLK Serang City are supporting facilities and infrastructure, the cost of participants to take part in free training with facilities that meet the needs of participants during the training, and the competence of instructors. while the inhibiting factors of welding training at BBPLK Serang City were damage to welding machines, late assistance from the government, as well as capital constraints in entrepreneurship. Thus the researchers provide suggestions, namely curriculum development continues to be improved, to foster community entrepreneurial independence. As well as the introduction of BBPLK Kota Serang to remote villages in order to help the government reduce unemployment, especially in Serang, in fostering entrepreneurial independence, it would be nice for Serang City BBPLK to cooperate with the government to be able to provide capital assistance for participants who want to become entrepreneurs after participating in training, and finally in each evaluation. training is carried out, so that the obstacles that occur can be minimized.

Additional Information:	Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah masalah pengangguran serta sulitnya mendapatkan pekerjaan menuntut masyarakat untuk mencari solusi dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan hidupnya. Seperti peserta pelatihan las di BBPLK Kota Serang, mereka mengikuti pelatihan dengan tujan untuk memperbaiki taraf hidupnya. Dengan mengikuti pelatihan, peserta dapat menigkatkan pengetahuan serta pemahaman mengenai teknik las, menumbuhkan kemandirian berwirausaha, mampu bersaing di dunia kerja, dan memiliki keterampilan untuk mengelas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan pelatihan las dalam menumbuhkan kemandirian berwirausaha peserta pelatihan gelombang VI (2019) di BBPLK Kota Serang, untuk mengetahui hasil pelatihan las dalam menumbuhkan kemandirian berwirausaha peserta pelatihan gelombang VI (2019) di BBPLK Kota Serang, untuk mengetahui faktor pendukung dan penghambat pelatihan las dalam menumbuhkan kemandirian berwirausaha peserta pelatihan gelombang VI (2019) di BBPLK Kota Serang. penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, dimana data yang diperoleh dari hasil observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian yaitu seorang Kasie bidang pemberdayaan, dua orang instruktur, dan delapan orang peserta pelatihan las gelombang VI (2019).Hasil penelitian ini mwnunjukan bahwa: (1) Pelaksanaan pelatihan di BBPLK Kota Serang dalam menumbuhkan kemandirian berwirausaha sudah berjalan dengan baik. Hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan kesesuaian penggunaan metode, strategi, materi, kompetensi instruktur, sarana prasarana, fasilitas, dan media yang digunakan dalam pelaksanaan pelatihan las. (2) hasil pelatihan las dalam menumbuhkan kemandirian berwirausaha peserta pelatihan gelombang VI (2019) di BBPLK Kota Serang sudah mampu menumbuhkan kemandirian berwirausaha peserta dapat dilihat dari peserta yang mampu berwirausaha setelah mengikuti pelatihan las serta peningkatan dari aspek kognitif, afektif dan psikomotorik. Dengan kemampuan tersebut, dapat bermanfaat untuk hidup mandiri dan siap untuk memasuki dunia kerja karena sudah bertambahnya ilmu dan wawasan yang luas. Sikap percaya diri, bertanggung jawad terhadap tugas yang diberikan dan disiplin, serta bekal untuk berwirausaha. (3) faktor pendukung dan penghambat pelatihan las dalam menumbuhkan kemandirian berwirausaha peserta pelatihan las gelombang VI (2019) di BBPLK Kota Serang. Faktor pendukung dari pelaksanaan pelatihan las dalam menumbuhkan kemandirian berwirausaha peserta di BBPLK Kota Serang adalah sarana dan prasarana yang menunjang, biaya peserta untuk mengikuti platihan gratis dengan fasilitas yang memenuhi kebutuhan peserta saat pelaksanaan pelatihan, dan kompetensi instruktur. sedangkan faktor penghambat dari pelatihan las di BBPLK Kota Serang adalah kerusakan mesin las, terlambatnya bantuan yang masuk dari pemerintah, serta kendala modal dalam berwirausaha. Dengan demikian peneliti memberikan saran yaitu pengembangan kurikulum terus ditingkatkan, untuk menumbuhkan kemandirian berwirausaha masyarakat. Serta pengenalan BBPLK Kota Serang ke Desa terpencil agar dapat membantu pemerintah menekan angka pengangguran khususnya di Serang, dalam menumbuhkan kemandirian berwirausaha, alangkah baiknya BBPLK Kota Serang bekerjasama dengan pemerintah agar mampu memberikan bantuan modal untuk peserta yang ingin berwirausaha setelah mengikuti pelatihan, dan terakhir evaluasi disetiap pelatihan dilaksanakan, agar kendala yang terjadi bisa diminimalisir.
