Abstract

Chemistry is one of the subjects that students find it difficult and boring. Therefore, teaching methods and teaching media are needed that can provide student learning interest. The study aims to develop, to test the feasibility and to acknowledge students responses towards the practicality of an Android-based maze chemistry learning media on electrolyte and non-electrolyte solution materials. This research uses the Research & Development method with the ADDIE model which consists of 5 stages, namely Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. This study produces Android-based maze chemistry application product that is valid and feasible to use with a total V value of 0.81 for 6 material expert validators and 0.84 for the media .Student responses to Android-based maze chemistry learning media on electrolyte and non-electrolyte solution materials in terms of learning 86.25%, language 89.17%, programming 90.00%, visual 83.00% and goals 88.75%. It can be concluded that the Android-based maze chemistry application is in a very good category and is very suitable for use in chemistry learning.

Additional Information: Mata pelajaran kimia adalah salah satu mata pelajaran yang dianggap sukar dan membosankan oleh siswa. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan metode mengajar dan media ajar yang dapat memberikan minat belajar siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan, menguji kelayakan dan mengetahui respons siswa terhadap kepraktisan media pembelajaran maze chemistry berbasis android pada materi larutan elektrolit dan non elektrolit. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research & Development dengan model ADDIE yang terdiri dari 5 tahap yaitu Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Penelitian ini menghasilkan produk aplikasi maze chemistry berbasis android yang valid dan layak digunakan dengan nilai V total untuk 6 validator ahli materi sebesar 0,81 dan media sebesar 0,84. Respons peserta didik terhadap media pembelajaran maze chemistry berbasis android pada materi larutan elektrolit dan non elektrolit dari segi pembelajaran 86,25%, kebahasaan 89,17%, pemrograman 90,00%, visual 83,00% dan tujuan 88,75%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa aplikasi maze chemistry berbasis android berada dalam kategori sangat baik dan sangat layak dipakai dalam pembelajaran kimia.
