Abstract
Fulfillment of SDGs indicators, especially Goal 16 related to peace, justice, and resilient institutions, strengthening inclusive and peaceful societies for sustainable development, providing access to justice for all, and building effective, accountable, and inclusive institutions at all levels. The problem of crime is aimed to alleviate negative impacts such as division, unlawful behaviour, material and non-material losses to the state, region, and between communities and other impacts caused by the crime. This research covers 34 provinces in Indonesia using the Generalized Method of Moments (GMM) method. The results obtained by poverty and population density have a significant positive effect. Variable GRDP per capita, unemployment and mean years of schooling have a significant negative effect, and inequality income has no effect and is not significant on the crime rate.

| Additional Information: | Pemenuhan indikator SDGs, khususnya Goal 16 terkait dengan perdamaian, keadilan, dan kelembagaan yang tangguh menguatkan masyarakat yang inklusif dan damai untuk pembangunan berkelanjutan, menyediakan akses keadilan untuk semua, dan membangun kelembagaan yang efektif, akuntabel, dan inklusif di semua tingkatan. Permasalahan kriminalitas ditujukan untuk mengentaskan dampak negatif seperti perpecahan, ketidaktakutan terhadap peraturan atau hukum di daerah tersebut, kerugian secara materiil maupun non materiil baik terhadap negara, daerah, maupun antar masyarakat dan masih banyak dampak yang ditimbulkan dari adanya kriminalitas. Penelitian ini meliputi 34 provinsi di Indonesia dengan menggunakan metode Generalized Method of Moments (GMM). Hasil yang diperoleh kemiskinan dan kepadatan penduduk berpengaruh positif signifikan. Variabel PDRB perkapita, pengangguran dan rata-rata lama sekolah berpengaruh negatif signifikan, serta ketimpangan penduduk tidak berpengaruh dan tidak signifikan terhadap tingkat kriminalitas. | |||||||||
