Abstract
For children with mild intellectual disabilities, performing ablution is easy because it has cognitive strengths such as low memory skills. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using animated video media to improve the ability to perform ablution movements in children with mild intellectual disabilities in class VI at SKh N 01 Serang City. This research was conducted using an experimental method with a single subject research design model A-B-A with a session length of 4-8-4 for 16 meetings. The target behavior of this research is that children are able to perform ablution steps correctly. The results showed that the ability to perform ablution movements in the baseline phase 1 (A1) was stable with a percentage of 55.55%, while the intervention phase (B) increased the ability of students to increase with a percentage of 86.10% and the baseline phase 2 (A2) the ability of students is stable with a percentage of 72.22%. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the use of animated video media was effective in increasing the ability to perform ablution movements in children with mild intellectual disabilities.
