Abstract

Creativity is a person's ability to produce something new in the form of ideas and real work that is relatively different from before. Creativity is one of the important things to develop for children from an early age. In developing children's creativity, it can be done through finger painting activities or painting with fingers directly without using tools, especially in learning activities in PAUD. This study aims to determine the development of students' creativity through finger painting activities at PAUD Pelangi Pandeglang. The method used in this research is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach, where data is obtained from interviews, observation, and documentation. The data source of this research is 1 educator and 7 students who are observed. The things examined in this study are (1) the process of finger painting activities (2) the results of finger painting activities in developing students' creativity. The results showed that (1) the process of finger painting activities in developing students' creativity has been carried out well by educators starting from the preparation stage, the implementation stage, to the assessment stage. (2) The results of finger painting activities show that the creativity of 7 students is growing with most of them in the Developing As Expected category at the first meeting and in the Very Good Developing category at the second meeting seen from the creativity indicators.

Additional Information: Kreativitas merupakan kemampuan seseorang dalam menghasilkan sesuatu yang baru baik berupa gagasan maupun karya nyata yang relatif berbeda dengan sebelumnya.Kreativitas merupakan salah satu yang penting untuk dikembangkan untuk anak sejak dini.Dalam mengembangkan kreativitas anak dapat dilakukan melalui kegiatan finger painting atau melukis dengan jari tangan secara langsung tanpa menggunakan alat bantuan khususnya pada kegiatan pembelajaran di PAUD.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perkembangan kreativitas peserta didik melalui kegiatan finger painting di PAUD Pelangi Pandeglang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif, dimana data diperoleh dari hasil wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi.Sumber data penelitian ini yaitu 1 orang pedidik dan 7 orang peserta didik yang diobservasi.Adapun hal yang di teliti dalam penelitian ini yaitu (1) proses kegiatan finger painting (2) hasil kegiatan finger painting dalam mengembangkan kreativitas peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) proses kegiatan finger painting dalam mengembangkan kreativitas peserta didik sudah dilakukan dengan baik oleh pendidik dimulai dari tahap pesiapan, tahap pelaksanaan, hingga tahap penilaian. (2) hasil kegiatan finger painting menunjukkan bahwa kreativitas dari 7 peserta didik semakin berkembang dengan sebagian besar dalam kategori Berkembang Sesuai Harapan pada pertemuan pertama dan dalam kategori Berkembang Sangat Baik pada pertemuan kedua dilihat dari indikator kreativitas.
