Abstract
This research aimed to develop Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) Student’s Worksheet based on microalgae diversity research in Tunda Island. This research was development research with 4D design which is done until revision of the initial product after validation step at the Develop stage. The results of microalgae exploration showed that the microalgae of the Bacillariophyceae class were found in the highest number of 19 species of 23 microalgae species observed. The highest value of Shannon-Weinner index was obtained at first station observation, that’s 2,42. Meanwhile, the highest value of Simpson dominance index obtained at third station, that’s 0,3. This condition was indicating that the condition of microalgae diversity on Tunda Island is stable and no dominating microalgae. The result of the study was used as materials in Student Worksheet by applying CTL principle. Furthermore, the assessment of the LKS according to the material and media experts, based on it obtained the value of the feasibility of 87.99% with very feasible category to be used as teaching materials on the Protist concept.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) Berbasis Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) berdasarkan hasil penelitian keanekaragaman mikroalga di perairan Pulau Tunda. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan dengan menggunakan desain penelitian 4D yang dilakukan sampai tahap revisi produk awal setelah dilakukan uji ahli pada tahap Develop. Hasil penelitian terhadap keanekaragaman mikroalga menunjukkan bahwa mikroalga dari kelas Bacillariophyceae ditemukan dalam jumlah terbanyak yaitu 19 jenis dari 23 jenis mikroalga yang berhasil diamati. Nilai indeks keanekaragaman Shannon-Weinner tertinggi diperoleh pada stasiun pengamatan 1, yaitu 2,42. Sedangkan, indeks dominansi Simpson tertinggi diperoleh pada stasiun 3 yaitu sebesar 0,3. Hal ini menunjukkan bawa kondisi keanekaragaman mikroalga di Pulau Tunda masih tergolong sedang dan tidak adanya spesies tertentu yang mendominasi. Hasil penelitian tersebut dijadikan bahan dalam penyusunan LKS dengan menerapkan prinsip CTL. Selanjutnya dilakukan penilaian terhadap LKS menurut para ahli materi dan media, berdasarkan hal tersebut diperoleh nilai kelayakan sebesar 87,99% dengan kategori sangat layak untuk digunakan sebagai bahan ajar pada konsep protista. | |||||||||
