Abstract
Background: Work productivity has a vital role in the wheels of the country's economy; decreased productivity will affect a company's income. Having high productivity is the desire of every workforce, but the productivity of each individual is different because internal and external factors influence it. Purpose: This study aims to determine the relationship between nutritional status, breakfast energy intake, breakfast habits, and physical work environment with work productivity in the male workforce in the maintenance division of PT. X in the city of Cilegon. Research Methods: This study used a cross-sectional approach design. The population of the maintenance division workforce is 67 workers, and the total sample is 40 workers obtained from the calculation of the Slovin formula with the sampling technique using simple random sampling. Data collection used height and weight measurements, food recalls 3× breakfast, questionnaires, interviews and observations. Data is processed using Microsoft Excel and SPSS 25.0 applications. Data analysis used the pearson chi-square test. Results: Based on the results of the pearson chi-square test, it was found that there was a significant relationship between nutritional status (p = 0.037), breakfast energy intake (p = 0.005), and physical work environment (p = 0.002) with the work productivity of the male workforce division maintenance. There is no relationship between the variable breakfast habits (p = 0.419) and the productivity of maintenance division male workers. Conclusion: There is no significant relationship between breakfast habits and work productivity.

Additional Information: | Latar Belakang: Produktivitas kerja memiliki peran penting dalam roda perekonomian negara, produktivitas yang menurun akan berpengaruh terhadap pendapatan dari suatu perusahaan. Memiliki produktivitas yang tinggi merupakan keingdinan setiap tenaga kerja, tetapi produktivitas tiap individu berbeda-beda karena dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal dan eksternal. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan status gizi, asupan energi sarapan, kebiasaan sarapan, dan lingkungan kerja fisik dengan produktivitas kerja pada tenaga kerja laki-laki divisi maintenance PT. X di kota Cilegon. Metode Penelitian: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain pendekatan cross sectional. Jumlah populasi tenaga kerja divisi maintenance sebanyak 67 tenaga kerja, jumlah sampel sebanyak 40 tenaga kerja didapatkan dari hasil perhitungan rumus Slovin dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan simple random sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan pengukuran tinggi dan berat badan, food recall 3× sarapan pagi, kuesioner, wawancara, dan observasi. Data diolah mengguankan aplikasi microsoft excel dan SPSS 25.0. Analisis data menggunakan uji pearson chi-square. Hasil: Berdasarkan hasil uji pearson chi-square didapatkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara status gizi (p = 0,037), asupan energi sarapan (p= 0,005), dan lingkungan kerja fisik (p= 0,002) dengan produktivitas kerja tenaga kerja laki-laki divisi maintenance. Untuk variabel kebiasaan sarapan (p = 0,419) tidak terdapat hubungan dengan produktivitas kerja tenaga kerja laki-laki divisi maintenance. Kesimpulan: Tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kebiasaan sarapan dengan produktivitas kerja. | |||||||||
