Abstract
EFFORTS TO IMPROVE EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE THROUGH WORK DISCIPLINE (Study at Banten Class II Port Health Office) By: Ria Rahmasuci (7776210023) ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of intrinsic motivation and organizational culture on employee performance through work discipline. The research method uses quantitative methods. The research design uses a descriptive and causal design. The study population was Banten Class II Port Health Office employees, taking samples using saturated sampling or census. Data collection techniques by distributing questionnaires with a total sample of 69 respondents. Data analysis used path analysis with the student version of the Smart PLS 3 program. Based on data analysis, it is known that the R Square value in the construct variable of work discipline (variable Z) is 0.156 indicating a variation in the substantive influence of intrinsic motivation and organizational culture variables of 15.6 percent. The R Square value in the employee performance variable construct (variable Y) is 0.56 indicating a variation in the substantive influence of intrinsic motivation, organizational culture and work discipline by 56 percent. The results of the hypothesis test show that intrinsic motivation has a positive effect on employee performance, organizational culturet positive effect not significant on employee performance, intrinsic motivation has a positive effect on work discipline, organizational culture has a positive effect on work discipline and work discipline has a positive effect on employee performance Keyword : Employee Performance, Intrinsic Motivation, Organizational Culture, Work Discipline.

Metode penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Desain penelitian menggunakan desain deskriptif dan kausal. Populasi penelitian adalah pegawai Kantor Kesehatan Pelabuhan Kelas II Banten, pengambilan sampel menggunakan sampling jenuh atau sensus. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menyebarkan kuesioner dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 69 responden. Analisis data menggunakan analisis jalur (path analysis) dengan program Smart PLS 3 versi students. Berdasarkan analisis data, diketahui nilai R Square pada konstruk variabel disiplin kerja (variabel Z) sebesar 0.156 menunjukkan variasi pengaruh substansif variabel motivasi intrinsik dan budaya organisasi sebesar 15.6 persen. Adapun nilai R Square pada konstruk variabel kinerja pegawai (variabel Y) sebesar 0.56 menunjukkan variasi pengaruh substansif variabel motivasi intrinsik, budaya organisasi dan disiplin kerja sebesar 56 persen. Hasil uji hipotesis diketahui motivasi intrinsik berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai, budaya organisasi berpengaruh positif tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai, motivasi intrinsik berpengaruh positif terhadap disiplin kerja, budaya organisasi berpengaruh positif terhadap disiplin kerja dan disiplin kerja berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja pegawai.
