Abstract

The aims of this study were (1) to describe the forms of language errors in the taxonomy of linguistic categories at the syntactical level in the speech texts of SMPN 2 Mauk students. and (2) to describe the analysis of language errors in the Linguistic Category Taxonomy at the Syntactic Level in the speech texts of students of SMPN 2 Mauk. This study uses the theory according to Khairah, Sakura Ridwan (2014) explaining that phrases, clauses, and sentences are interconnected in forming a discourse structure. Khairah (2014: 10) "in a construction, there are functional relationships between words in phrases, functional relationships between words/phrases in clauses, functional relationships between words/phrases in sentences, functional relationships between clauses in sentences, and functional relationships between sentences in discourse". This study used descriptive qualitative method. The techniques used in this study were observation, free engagement viewing (SLBC) and data coding. This study uses investigator triangulation to determine the validity of research data. The source of the data in this study was the speech text of SMPN 2 Mauk students, Tangerang Regency. The data in this study are in the form of language errors, namely Inappropriate Wording, Excessive Use of Elements and Incorrect Prepositions. The amount of data in this study is 26 data. The results of this study indicate that there are still many errors in the use of language in education, for example at SMPN 2 Mauk. The results of this study can be implemented in teaching speech texts for grade 9 as lesson plans (RPP) used by teachers as teaching materials, because they are in accordance with what is taught in junior high school, namely regarding speech text material.

Additional Information: Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk (1) Memaparkan bentuk kesalahan berbahasa dalam Taksonomi Kategori Linguistik Tataran Sintaksis pada teks pidato siswa SMPN 2 Mauk. dan (2) Mendeskripsikan analisis kesalahan berbahasa dalam Taksonomi Kategori Linguistik Tataran Sintaksis pada teks pidato siswa SMPN 2 Mauk. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori menurut Khairah, Sakura Ridwan (2014) menjelaskan Frasa, klausa, dan kalimat saling berhubungan dalam membentuk suatu tatanan wacana. Khairah (2014: 10) “dalam sebuah konstruksi, terdapat hubungan fungsi antarkata dalam frasa, hubungan fungsi antarakata/frasa dalam klausa, hubungan fungsi antarkata/frasa dalam kalimat, hubungan fungsi antarklausa dalam kalimat, dan hubungan fungsi antarkalimat dalam wacana”. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu observasi, simak bebas libat cakap (SLBC) dan pengodean data. Penelitian ini menggunakan triangulasi penyidik untuk mengetahui keabsahan data penelitian. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini yaitu teks pidato siswa SMPN 2 Mauk Kabupaten Tangerang. Data dalam penelitian ini berupa bentuk kesalahan berbahasa yaitu susunan kata yang tidak tepat, penggunaan unsur yang berlebihan dan preposisi yang tidak tepat. Jumlah data dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 26 data. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa masih terdapat banyak kesalahan penggunaan Bahasa dalam dunia Pendidikan contohnya di SMPN 2 Mauk. Hasil dari penelitian ini dapat diimplementasikan dalam pembelajaran teks pidato kelas 9 sebagai rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP) yang digunakan oleh guru sebagai bahan ajar, karena sesuai dengan yang diajarkan di SMP yaitu megenai materi teks pidato.
