Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify and analyze the effect of competence and work culture on employee performance through organizational commitment as an intervening variable. This research method uses quantitative research with a sampling population of 125 court employees in the jurisdiction of the Banten High Court. The data collection technique used a questionnaire in the form of a combination of closed answers with an interval scale of 1 -10 with a questionnaire and Google form, then processed and arranged into a data frequency table which was then analyzed using the SmartPLS v.3.2.9 program. The pre-questionnaire validity test was conducted on 30 (thirty) respondents to the research variables using the SPSS Statistics program. 27, namely the competency variable is valid with a reliable value of 0.844, the work culture variable is valid and the value is reliable is 0.789, the organizational commitment variable is valid and the value is reliable is 0.882 and the employee performance variable is valid and the value is reliable is 0.760. The results of the research based on the results of the validity and reliability tests show that the research data is valid and reliable. The results of direct and indirect hypothesis testing that:Competence has a positive and significant influence on Employee Performance. This conclusion was drawn based on the value (Tstat = 3.317 and P value = 0.001) and the original sample score was 0.335. Competence has a positive and significant effect on Organizational Commitment. This conclusion was drawn based on the value (Tstat = 2.437 and P value = 0.014) and a sample score of 0.237, Work Culture has a positive and significant influence on Employee Performance. This conclusion was drawn based on the value (Tstat = 1.997 and P value = 0.046) and a sample score of 0.228, Work Culture has a positive and significant influence on Organizational Commitment. This conclusion is drawn based on the value (Tstat = 7.154 and P value = 0.000) and a sample score of 0.585, Organizational Commitment has a positive and significant influence on Employee Performance.

Additional Information: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh kompetensi, budaya kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai melalui komitmen organisasi sebagai variabel intervening. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan populasi sampling sebesar 125 pegawai pengadilan se-wilayah hukum Pengadilan Tinggi Banten. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dalam bentuk kombinasi jawaban tertutup skala interval 1 -10 dengan kuesioner dan google form, kemudian diolah serta disususn kedalam tabel frekuesni data yang selanjutnya dianalisis menggunakan program SmartPLS v.3.2.9. Uji validitas Pra-kuesioner dilakukan terhadap 30 (tiga puluh) responden terhadap variabel-variabel penelitian menggunakan program SPSS Statistict.27 yaitu variabel kompetensi valid dengan nilai reliabel sebesar 0.844, variabel budaya kerja valid dan nilai reliabel sebesar 0.789, variabel komitmen organisasi valid dan nilai reliabel sebesar 0.882 serta variabel kinerja pegawai valid dan nilai reliabel sebesar 0.760. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan hasil uji validitas dan reliabilitas menunjukkan bahwa data penelitian valid dan reliabel. Hasil uji hipotesis langsung dan tidak langsung bahwa: Kompetensi memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja Pegawai. Kesimpulan tersebut diambil berdasarkan nilai (Tstat = 3.317 dan P value = 0.001) dan skor sampel asli 0.335, Kompetensi memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Komitmen Organisasi. Kesimpulan tersebut diambil berdasarkan nilai (Tstat = 2.437 dan P value = 0.014) dan skor sampel 0.237, Budaya Kerja memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja Pegawai. Kesimpulan tersebut diambil berdasarkan nilai (Tstat = 1.997 dan P value = 0.046) dan skor sampel 0.228, Budaya Kerja memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Komitmen Organisasi.
