Abstract
The objective of this research is to (1) develop a Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) learning media for the subject of Electronic Control Systems at SMKN 1 Cilegon; (2) test the feasibility level of the VFD learning media in supporting the VFD learning activities at SMKN 1 Cilegon; and (3) test the effectiveness level of the VFD learning media at SMKN 1 Cilegon. This research is of the type of research and development, referred to the ADDIE model (Branch, 2009), which consists of: (1) Analyze; (2) Design; (3) Development; (4) Implementation; (5) Evaluation. The subjects of this research include 6 experts, consisting of 1 representative from industry, 1 productive teacher from SMKN 1 Cilegon, 1 representative from the Vocational Training Center as a media expert, 1 lecturer from Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University, and 2 productive teachers from SMKN 1 Cilegon as subject matter experts, and 22 respondents, which are students of SMKN 1 Cilegon, as users. The instruments used in this research include assessment sheets for media experts, subject matter experts, and users, as well as student test sheets. The data collection method in this research is through interviews, surveys, and tests. The data analysis technique used is the analysis of media feasibility, n-Gain, product validity moment, and KR 20 reliability. Based on the results of the conducted research, the validity test of the test instrument used by students showed that only 16 items were valid. To make it a complete set, 20 items of differential power test were used to identify items that could be improved, resulting in a total of 20 test items with a reliability score of 0.748, categorized as High. The VFD learning media obtained a score of 97.33, falling within the interval x ≥ 81, categorized as 1 or "Very Suitable". The VFD learning jobsheet obtained a score of 67, falling within the interval x ≥ 57, categorized as 1 or "Very Suitable". The user response for the VFD learning media and jobsheet obtained a score of 100.91, falling within the interval x ≥ 90, categorized as 1 or "Very Suitable". The effectiveness level of the VFD learning media and jobsheet obtained a score of 0.724, falling within the interval n-gain > 0.70, categorized as 1 or "High Effectiveness".

Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian dan pengembangan atau (Research and Development) dengan mengacu pada model ADDIE (Branch, 2009) yaitu: (1) Analyze (analisis); (2) Design (desain); (3) Development (pengembangan); (4) Implementation (implementasi); (5) Evaluation (evaluasi). Subjek penelitian ini meliputi 6 orang ahli, yaitu: 1 orang pihak industri, 1 orang guru produktif SMKN 1 Kota Cilegon, dan 1 orang pihak Balai Latihan Kerja sebagai ahli media, 1 orang Dosen Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa, 1 orang guru produktif SMKN 1 Kota Cilegon, dan 1 orang guru produktif SMKN 4 Kota Serang sebagai ahli materi, dan 22 respon pengguna yaitu peserta didik kelas XI bidang keahlian Teknik Elektronika Industri SMKN 1 Kota Cilegon sebagai pengguna. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi lembar penilaian kelayakan oleh ahli media, lembar penilaian kelayakan oleh ahli materi, lembar penilaian respon pengguna, dan lembar tes peserta didik. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dengan mengumpulkan data wawancara, angket, dan tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis kelayakan media, n-gain, validitas product momment, daya pembeda soal dan reabilitas KR 20. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang sudah dilakukan hasil uji validitas instrumen soal tes yang akan digunakan oleh peserta didik menunjukan hanya 16 butir soal yang valid, dan untuk menjadikannya genap menjadi 20 uji daya pembeda soal pun digunakan untuk mencari soal yang dapat diperbaiki sehingga menjadikan instrumen tes berjumlah 20 butir soal dengan skor reliabilitas 0,748 atau berada dalam kategori Tinggi. Media pembelajaran VFD mendapatkan skor 97,33 yang berada pada interval x ≥ 81 dengan kategori 1 atau “Sangat Layak”. Jobsheet pembelajaran VFD mendapatkan skor 67 yang berada pada interval x ≥ 57 dengan kategori 1 atau “Sangat Layak”. Untuk respon pengguna media dan jobsheet pembelajaran VFD mendapatkan skor 100,91 yang berada pada interval x ≥ 90 dengan kategori 1 atau “Sangat layak”. Tingkat efektivitas media dan jobsheet pembelajaran VFD mendapatkan skor 0,724 yang berada apa interval n-gain > 0,70 dengan kategori 1 atau “Efektivitas Tinggi”. | |||||||||
