Abstract

The worldwide Covid-19 outbreak has sharpened technological advances. Online school activities that have been carried out during the pandemic supported by mobile devices owned by teachers and students indicate that online learning is running well. The learning media used in online learning provides an opportunity to use technology in the learning process. Therefore, this research is conducted with the aim of creating a mobile learning application that can help learning activities to be more interesting and fun. In addition, it is expected that this research can facilitate teachers or educators in conveying learning information, especially reaction rate material and can facilitate students in understanding and mastering learning topics, especially reaction rates. The development research conducted uses the ADDIE research model (analyze, design, develop, implement and evaluate). Mobile learning applications as learning media developed were tested on 43 students of class XI MIPA. The results of the validity test on the application developed, the average score on the material expert validation was 0.92 and the average score on the media expert validation was 0.96 with the valid category. While the results of the trial obtained an average percentage of each aspect of 81% with a very good category and the score of students in doing practice questions at the PBL model stage was 77% with the criteria for achieving "good" learning outcomes. Thus, it can be concluded that the mobile learning application as a Problem Based Learning-based learning media using Kodular Creator on reaction rate material is declared valid and feasible for use in the learning process.

Additional Information: Wabah Covid-19 yang mendunia semakin mempertajam kemajuan teknologi. Kegiatan sekolah dalam jaringan (online) yang sudah dilakukan di saat pandemi didukung oleh perangkat mobile yang dimiliki guru maupun peserta didik menandakan berjalannya pembelajaran online secara baik. Media pembelajaran yang digunakan pada pembelajaran secara daring memberikan peluang penggunaan teknologi di dalam proses pembelajaran. Maka dari itu, penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk membuat suatu aplikasi mobile learning yang dapat membantu kegiatan belajar agar lebih menarik dan menyenangkan. Selain itu, diharapkan penelitian ini dapat mempermudah guru atau pendidik dalam menyampaikan informasi pembelajaran khususnya materi laju reaksi dan dapat memudahkan peserta didik dalam mengerti dan menguasai topik pembelajaran khususnya laju reaksi. Penelitian pengembangan yang dilakukan menggunakan model penelitian ADDIE (analyze, design, develop, implement dan evaluate). Aplikasi mobile learning sebagai media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan diuji coba kepada 43 orang peserta didik kelas XI MIPA. Hasil uji validitas pada aplikasi yang dikembangkan, perolehan rata-rata nilai pada validasi ahli materi sebesar 0,92 dan perolehan rata-rata nilai pada validasi ahli media sebesar 0,96 dengan kategori valid. Sedangkan hasil uji coba mendapatkan rata-rata persentase tiap aspek sebesar 81% dengan kategori sangat baik dan skor nilai peserta didik dalam mengerjakan latihan soal pada tahapan model PBL sebesar 77% dengan kriteria ketercapaian hasil belajar “baik”. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa aplikasi mobile learning sebagai media pembelajaran berbasis Problem Based Learning menggunakan Kodular Creator pada materi laju reaksi ini dinyatakan valid dan layak untuk digunakan di dalam proses pembelajaran.
