Abstract

Professional competence is seen as the suitability between the material of subjects taught and the educational background one has. however, currently there are several teachers who teach subjects that are not in accordance with their expertise or educational background. this can have an impact on student learning outcomes that are les s dan optimal. Where as students are educational targets formed through guidance, exemplary, assistance, training, maximum knowledge, skills, value, good attitude from acutor. this research is a quantitative research. the population of the study were residents studying studying the UPTD Job Training in Banten Province, totaling 80 students. The method used is the questionnaire method as the main method, and documentation as a supporting method. Meanwhile, for data analysis, the researcher used the Product Moment Correlation and simple linear regression formula to determine the significance level between the variables X and Y which were consulted with r tabel, namely using a significant level of 5%. The results of the study showed that r hitung is greater than r tabel , r hitung of 0.631 and r tabel This shows that Ha is accepted and there is an influence of the teacher's professional competence on the learning outcomes of the learning community at the UPTD Job Training in Banten Province.

Additional Information: kompetensi profesional dilihat sebagai kesesuaian antara materi atau mata pelajaran yang diampu dengan latar belakang kependidikan yang dimiliki. namun, saat ini ada beberapa guru atau tutor yang mengampu mata pelajaran yang kurang sesuai dengan keahliannya atau latar belakang pendidikan. Hal ini dapat berdampak pada hasil belajar peserta didik yang kurang maksimal. padahal peserta didik adalah sasaran pendidikan yang dibentuk melalui bimbingan, keteladanan, bantuan, latihan, pengetahuan yang maksimal, kecakapan, keterampilan, nilai, sikap yang baik dari seorang tutor. penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. populasi dari penelitian ini adalah warga belajar UPTD Latihan Kerja Provinsi Banten yang berjumlah 80 peserta didik. metode yang digunakan adalah metode angket sebagai metode yang utama, dan dokumentasi sebagai metode pendukung. sedangkan untuk analisis data peneliti menggunakan rumus korelasi product moment dan regressi linear sederhana untuk mengetahui taraf signifikan antara variabel x dan y yang dikonsultasikan dengan r tabel yaitu menggunakan taraf signifikan 5%. hasil penelitian diperoleh r hitung lebih besar daripada r tabel, r hitung sebesar 0.631 dan r tabel pada taraf signifikan 5% sebesar 0.320. hal ini menunjukkan bahwa Ha diterima dan terdapat pengaruh kompetensi profesional guru terhadap hasil belajar warga belajar di UPTD Latihan Kerja Provinsi Banten.
