Abstract

Job satisfaction is a pleasant emotional attitude, and he loves his job. Attitudes are reflected in work morale, discipline, and performance. Job satisfaction is related to variables such as turnover, productivity, absenteeism, age, job factors, and company organizational size. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of employee satisfaction, the attributes that need to be improved by PT X's management to increase employee satisfaction, and the proposed improvement strategies to increase employee satisfaction. The research results show that five attributes need to be improved: the provision of appropriate salaries, guarantees regarding termination of employment (PHK), housing allowances for employees, transportation allowances for employees, and good communication between superiors and subordinates. Employee satisfaction index value of 67.85%. According to the satisfaction index criteria, it can be concluded that employees feel quite satisfied with the company's performance. Of the five attributes, the proposed improvement is using the 5W+1H method, namely adjusting the salary by the workload of each employee and the minimum wage that has been set by the government, providing certainty regarding the fate of employees in the event of termination of employment by the government's labor law, allocating a portion of profits, providing housing allowances, providing transportation allowances according to the distance where employees live, listening to the aspirations of its employees, and holding family gatherings.

Additional Information: Kepuasan Kerja adalah sikap emosional yang menyenangkan dan mencintai pekerjaannya. Sikap yang dicerminkan oleh moral kerja, kedisiplinan, dan prestasi kerja. Kepuasan kerja berhubungan dengan variabel-variabel seperti turn over, produktivitas tingkat absensi, usia, faktor pekerjaan dan ukuran organisasi perusahaan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui tingkat kepuasan karyawan, mengetahui atribut yang perlu ditingkatkan manajemen PT X guna meningkatkan kepuasan karyawan, dan mengetahui usulan perbaikan strategi dalam upaya peningkatan kepuasan karyawan. Hasil Penelitian menunjukan bahwa atribut yang perlu ditingkatkan ada lima yaitu pemberian gaji yang sesuai, jaminan tentang aturan pemutusan hubungan kerja (PHK), tunjangan uang perumahan bagi karyawan, tunjangan uang transport bagi karyawan, dan komunikasi yang baik antara atasan dan bawahan. Nilai indeks kepuasan karyawan sebesar 67,85%. Menurut kriteria indeks kepuasan, disimpulkan bahwa karyawan merasa cukup puas terhadap kinerja perusahaan. Dari lima atribut tersebut maka usulan perbaikan dengan metode 5W+1H yaitu dilakukan penyesuaian gaji sesuai dengan beban kerja tiap karyawan dan UMK yang telah ditetapkan oleh pemerintah, memberi kepastian terkait dengan nasib karyawan apabila terjadi pemutusan hubungan kerja sesuai dengan UU ketenagakerjaan pemerintah, mengalokasikan sebagian profit perusahaan untuk tunjangan tempat tinggal, memberi uang transport sesuai dengan jarak tempat tinggal karyawan dan manajemen perusahaan mendengarkan aspirasi karyawannya, dan mengadakan family gathering.
