Abstract

This study discusses the negative impact of smartphones. The purpose of this study was to determine the Influence of group counseling using the role playing technique to reduce the negative impact of smartphones on class IX students of SMP Negeri 3 Kragilan. This research is an experimental research with a population of 59 students, 8 students with high category become the research sample. This study used a pre-experimental method with a one group pre-test and post-test design. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire, which is an instrument for the negative impact of smartphones. The analysis technique uses the Wilcoxon signed rank test. The results showed that there was a decrease in the percentage from 77% to 62%. And Asymp Result. Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.012, then based on decision making it can be concluded that group guidance with role playing techniques is effective in reducing the negative impact of students' smartphones.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini membahas mengenai dampak negatif smartphone. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Bimbingan Kelompok dengan teknik Role Playing untuk mengurangi dampak negatif smartphone pada siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 3 Kragilan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan populasi sebanyak 59 siswa, 8 siswa dengan kategori tinggi menjadi sampel penelitian. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pra-eksperimen dengan one group pre-test and post-test design. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket, yaitu instrumen dampak negatif smartphone. Teknik analisis menggunakan uji Wilcoxon signed rank test. Hasil penelitian menunjukan adanya penurunan presentase yang semula 77% menjadi 62%. Dan Hasil Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,012, maka berlandaskan pada pengambilan keputusan dapat disimpulkan bahwa bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik role playing efektif untuk mengurangidampak negatif smartphone siswa.
