Abstract

(1) In the industrial era 5.0 as it is today, many companies are required to be able to maximize employee performance, especially companies engaged in national electricity cable providers. Therefore, a strong effort from PT. Multi Kencana Niagatama is needed to make a strategy to deal with this by increasing employee performance. Work experience and job training have been found to increase employee performance levels. (2) The purpose of this research is to build a research model in an effort to improve employee performance by involving work experience, job training, and hard skills as mediating or intervening variables. (3) The reason for conducting this research is to determine the direct and indirect effects of work experience and job training on employee performance. (4) The population is 126 employees who work at PT. Multi Kencana Niagatama, which is located at Jalan Kopo Maja No. 97 Nyompok Village, Kopo District, Serang Regency. This number comes from several departments within the company, especially at the Multi-Cable Plan location. The sample was determined to be 126 employees (census sampling). (5) The research findings are that the direct effects of work experience, job training, and hard skills have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, while the mediating effects of hard skills on work experience and job training on employee performance both have a partial mediating effect.

(1) Pada era industri 5.0 seperti sekarang ini banyak perusahaan yang dituntut untuk dapat memaksimalkan kinerja karyawan yang lebih baik, terutama perusahaan yang bergerak di penyedia kabel listrik nasional. Oleh karenanya diperlukan upaya yang kuat dari PT. Multi Kencana Niagatama dalam membuat strategi untuk menghadapi hal tersebut dengan meningkatkan kinerja karyawan. Pengalaman kerja dan pelatihan kerja telah diketemukan dapat meningkatkan taraf kinerja karyawan. (2) Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk membangun model penelitian dalam upaya meningkatkan kinerja karyawan dengan melibatkan pengalaman kerja, pelatihan kerja dan hard skill sebagai variabel mediasi atau intervening. (3) Alasan dilaksanakannya penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh langsung dan tidak langsung pengalaman kerja dan pelatihan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan. (4) Populasi sejumlah 126 karyawan yang bekerja di PT. Multi Kencana Niagatama yang berada di Jalan Kopo Maja No. 97 Desa Nyompok Kecamatan Kopo Kabupaten Serang, Jumlah ini bersumber dari beberapa departemen yang ada pada perusahaan terutama pada lokasi plan Multi Kabel. Sampel ditetapkan 126 karyawan (sampling sensus). (5) Temuan penelitian yaitu pengaruh langsung pengalaman kerja, pelatihan kerja, dan hard skill mempunyai pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, sedangkan efek mediasi hard skill pada pengalaman kerja dan pelatihan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan keduanya memiliki efek memediasi sebagian (partial mediation).
