Abstract

Learning Mathematics at SMPN 5 Pasarkemis is minimal in the use of learning media & still uses the lecture method which has an impact on student learning interest. Therefore, researchers developed Articulate Storyline learning media aimed at attracting students' interest in learning Mathematics. This study uses developmental research with the ADDIE model. The sample of this research is 31 students of class VIII.5. Data collection techniques used observation, questionnaires, & documentation. The data analysis performed was a quantitative descriptive analysis technique. The results showed that the media was very feasible with the results of the material expert's assessment of 90% and media experts of 96.25% and very practical with the results of the teacher's response obtaining an average percentage of 91.67% and student response results obtaining an average percentage of 84.95% . The results of using Articulate Storyline media are proven to increase student interest in learning with the N-Gain test obtaining a result of 0.651 which is not in the low/moderate category. From the results of the research, it can be concluded that the Articulate Storyline learning media developed is very feasible & very practical and able to increase students' interest in learning Mathematics. Based on the conclusions, it is suggested that Articulate Storyline learning media can be used as an alternative media used to increase students' interest in learning Mathematics.

Additional Information: Pembelajaran Matematika di SMPN 5 Pasarkemis minim dalam penggunaan media pembelajaran & masih menggunakan metode ceramah yang berdampak kepada minat belajar siswa. Sebab itu, peneliti mengembangkan media pembelajaran Articulate Storyline bertujuan menarik minat belajar Matematika siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan Developmental Research dengan model ADDIE. Sampel penelitian ini ialah 31 siswa kelas VIII.5. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan observasi, angket, & dokumentasi. Analisis data yang dilakukan ialah teknik analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan media sangat valid dengan hasil penilaian ahli materi ialah 90% dan ahli media sebesar 96,25% serta sangat praktis dengan hasil respon guru memperoleh persentase rerata sebesar sebesar 91,67% dan hasil respon siswa memperoleh persentase rerata sebesar 84,95%. Hasil penggunaan media Articulate Storyline terbukti meningkatkan minat belajar siswa dengan pengujian N-Gain memperoleh hasil 0,651 yang termasuk kategori tidak rendah/sedang. Dari hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan media pembelajaran Articulate Storyline yang dikembangkan sangat layak & sangat praktis serta mampu meningkatkan minat belajar Matematika siswa. Berdasarkan simpulan, disarankan media pembelajaran Articulate Storyline dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai salah satu alternatif media yang digunakan untuk meningkatkan minat belajar Matematika siswa.
