Abstract
The process of learning mathematics that tries to increase students’ understanding of the material requires abilities that can understand ideas, principles, and procedures as well as the capacity to use the given problem solving techniques, namely the ability to understand mathematics. Developmental Research is carried out in an effort to support this ability with the aim of creating a product in the form of a web-based e-module to support junior high school students' mathematical understanding abilities, which have been tested for validity and practicality. The 4D development model which includes the Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate stages is the model used in developmental research activities. The developed e-module is made and presented with the help of the Canva application, which is equipped with several complementary media, namely learning videos that are used as an introduction to the material. The product trial results show that the E-module is feasible to use. The first trial was product validation by two lecturers and one mathematics teacher where the results of the validity test of the E-module that had been developed based on material experts obtained a percentage of 100% and media experts with a percentage of 100%, where both percentages were in the valid category. While the second trial, namely the practicality test consisting of 18 class VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Cilegon, was declared practical after obtaining a percentage of 96% in the very good category.

Additional Information: | Proses pembelajaran matematika yang mencoba untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi memerlukan kemampuan yang dapat memahami ide, prinsip, dan prosedur serta kapasitas untuk menggunakan teknik pemecahan masalah yang diberikan, yaitu kemampuan pemahaman matematis. Penelitian pengembangan dilakukan dalam upaya mendukung kemampuan tersebut dengan tujuan menciptakan produk berupa e-modul berbasis web untuk mendukung kemampuan pemahaman matematis siswa SMP, yang telah diuji kevalidan dan kepraktisannya. Model pengembangan 4D yang meliputi tahap Define, Design, Develop, dan Disseminate merupakan model yang diigunakan dalam kegiatan penelitian pengembangan (Developmental Research). E-modul yang dikembangkan dibuat dan disajikan dengan bantuan aplikasi canva, yang dilengkapi dengan beberapa media pelengkap yaitu video pembelajaran yang digunakan sebagai pendahuluan materi. Hasil uji coba produk menunjukan bahwa E-modul layak untuk digunakan. Uji coba pertama adalah validasi produk oleh dua dosen dan satu guru mata pelajaran matematika dimana hasil uji kevalidan E-modul yang telah dikembangkan berdasarkan ahli materi memperoleh persentase 100% dan ahli media dengan persentase 100%, dimana kedua persentase tersebut berada dalam kategori valid. Sedangkan uji coba kedua, yaitu uji kepraktisan yang terdiri 18 siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Cilegon dinyatakan praktis setelah mendapat persentase 96% dengan kategori sangat baik. | |||||||||
