Abstract

Background : Ineffective breastfeeding for post partum mothers is when the mother and baby experience dissatisfaction or difficulty in the breastfeeding process (SDKI DPP PPNI Working Group Team, 2017). The failure of the breastfeeding process is caused by several problems, both problems originating from the mother and from the baby. Problems in the mother such as inadequate supply of breast milk, inadequate oxytocin reflex, and swelling of the breasts, while problems caused by the baby such as inadequate baby sucking reflex. The impact caused by mothers not breastfeeding is that babies are susceptible to disease. Interventions that can be done to overcome breastfeeding problems are not effective for post partum mothers with oxytocin massage, namely relaxation massage to stimulate the hormone oxytocin (Ummah, 2014). Oxytocin massage is carried out along the bones (vertebrae) to the fifth or sixth bones (costae). Oxytocin massage functions to calm the mother and make the mother comfortable thereby increasing the secretion of the hormone oxytocin, so that breast milk can come out by itself (Afiani, 2017). Purpose : this study is to find out the results of applying oxytocin massage to increasing milk production. Method : The method used in this study is a case study with a descriptive type of research carried out by researchers on two post partum mothers with ineffective breastfeeding problems with the criteria, post partum mothers giving birth to their first baby (Primipara), and post partum mothers with complaints of Ineffective breastfeeding. Results: The results obtained from case studies in patient 1 and patient 2 have the same nursing problem, namely the problem of ineffective breastfeeding related to inadequate supply of breast milk. then planning nursing actions, and implementing Nursing Actions by teaching two patients and the patient's family how to perform Oxytocin Massage Actions to Increase Milk Production, for 3 days. Conclusion: Oxytocin Massage is quite effective in dealing with breastfeeding problems, marked by patient 1 being able to breastfeed her baby on day 2, whereas in patient 2 it had not been fully resolved because the baby was not admitted but the milk had come out on the 3rd day.

Additional Information:	Latar Belakang: Menyusui tidak efektif pada ibu post partum merupakan dimana kondisi ibu dan bayi mengalami ketidakpuasan atau kesukaran pada proses menyusui (Tim Pokja SDKI DPP PPNI, 2017). Kegagalan proses menyusui tersebut disebabkan karena beberapa masalah baik masalah yang berasal dari ibu maupun dari bayinya. Masalah pada ibu seperti ketidakadekuatan suplai air susu ibu, ketidakadekuatan reflex oksitoksin, dan payudara membengkak, adapun masalah yang disebabkan karena bayi seperti ketidakadekuatan reflex mengisap bayi. Dampak yang ditimbulkan dari ibu tidak menyusui, yaitu bayi rentan terkena penyakit. Intervensi yang dapat dilakukan untuk mangatasi masalah menyusui tidak efektif pada ibu post partum dengan tindakan pijat oksitoksin Yaitu pijat relaksasi untuk merangsang hormon oksitoksin (Ummah, 2014). Pijat oksitoksin dilakukan di sepanjang tulang (vertebra) sampai tulang (costae) kelima atau keenam. Pijat Oksitoksin berfungsi Menenangnkan ibu dan Membuat ibu nyaman Sehingga meningkatkan Sekresi Hormon oksitosin, sehingga ASI dapat keluar dengan sendirinya (Afiani, 2017). Tujuan: penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui hasil dari penerapan pijat oksitoksin terhadap peningkatan produksi ASI. Metode: Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu Studi Kasus dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif dilakukan oleh peneliti Pada dua Ibu Post Partum pada masalah menyusui tidak efektif dengan kriteria, ibu post partum kelahiran bayi pertama (Primipara), dan Ibu post partum dengan keluhan ASI tidak Lancar. Hasil: didapatkan hasil dari studi kasus pada pasien 1 dan pasien 2 memiliki masalah keperawatan yang sama yaitu masalah menyusui tidak efektif berhubungan dengan ketidak adekuatan suplai Air susu ibu. kemudian mengrencanakan tindakan keperawatan, dan melakukan implementasi Tindakan Keperawatan dengan mengajarkan kepada dua pasien dan keluarga pasien bagaimana cara melakukan Tindakan Pijat Oksitoksin Untuk Meningkatkan Produksi ASI, Selama 3 hari. Kesimpulan: Tindakan Pijat Oksitoksin cukup efektif untuk mengatasi masalah Menyusui, ditandai dengan pasien 1 mampu menyusi bayinya pada hari ke 2, sedangkan pada pasien 2 Belum sepenuhnya teratasi dikarenakan bayi yang tidak rawat gabung namun ASI sudah keluar pada hari ke 3.
