Abstract
Hemorrhoids are enlargement of the hemorrhoidal veins due to inflammation of the intestine characterized by pain and discomfort. The cause of hemorrhoids is the frequent lifting of heavy objects on a regular basis. Hemorrhoid surgery is called a hemorrhoidectomy. The effects of surgery cause pain, one of the non pharmacological treatments that can be done to treat pain is a deep breathing relaxation technique. The purpose of writing is to describe nursing care for postoperative hemorrhoid patients with deep breathing relaxation measures. Deep breathing relaxation technique is a form of nursing care that is taught to patients to reduce pain intensity. Using a descriptive research method in the form of a case study with the subject of this study, namely a comparison of 2 postoperative hemorrhoidal patients who experienced acute pain with deep breathing relaxation measures. The results showed that both patients complained of acute pain, after 3 days of deep breathing relaxation, patient 1 and patient 2 experienced a decrease in the pain scale from severe to moderate. The conclusion is that deep breathing relaxation is one of the non-pharmacological techniques to reduce pain intensity and this research was conducted at Banten Provincial Hospital.

| Additional Information: | Hemoroid adalah pembesaran vena hemoroidialis dikarenakan peradangan pada usus ditandai dengan nyeri dan rasa tak nyaman. Penyebab hemoroid yaitu seringnya mengangkat benda berat secara rutin. Tindakan pembedahan hemoroid dinamakan hemoroidektomi. Efek dari tindakan pembedahan menimbulkan nyeri, salah satu pengobatan non farmakologis yang bisa dilakukan mengatasi nyeri adalah teknik relaksasi nafas dalam. Tujuan dari penulisan adalah untuk menggambarkan asuhan keperawatan pada pasien post operasi hemoroid dengan tindakan relaksasi nafas dalam. Teknik relaksasi nafas dalam merupakan suatu bentuk asuhan keperawatan yang diajarkan kepada pasien untuk mengurangi intensitas nyeri. Menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif dalam bentuk studi kasus dengan subjek penelitian ini yaitu perbandingan 2 pasien post operasi hemoroid yang mengalami nyeri akut dengan tindakan relaksasi nafas dalam. Hasil penelitian menunjukan kedua pasien mengeluh nyeri akut, setelah dilakukan tindakan relaksasi nafas dalam selama 3 hari pasien 1 dan pasien 2 mengalami penurunan skala nyeri dari berat ke sedang. Kesimpulan bahwa tindakan relaksasi nafas dalam merupakan salah satu teknik non farmakologis untuk dapat menurunkan intensitas nyeri dan penelitian ini dilakukan di RSUD Provinsi Banten. | |||||||||
