Abstract

This research aimed to determine the effect of the application of inquiri-based biology practicum comic learning media on the concept of the kidney excretion system sub-concept on learning outcomes for class 11th grade 12 senior high school. This method used in this research is quasi experimental research in the form of a Post-Test Only Control Group Design. Sampling used random sampling, class XI IPA 1 as the control class and XI IPA 3 as the experimental class. Data were obtained through multiple choice tests to measure cognitive abilities and observation sheets to measure psychomotor abilities. The average value of the cognitive domain in the control class was 53,33 while the experimental class was 81,50 with a difference in value 29,2 and also an increase in the average value of the psychomotor domain in the control class was 77,67 while in the experimental class ot was 87 which had a difference in value of 9,33 after receiving treatment using comic learning media in biology lab.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan media pembelajarankomik praktikum biologi berbasis inkuiri pada konsep sistem ekskresi subkonsep ginjal terhadap hasil belajar SMA kelas XI SMAN 12 Kota Tangerang. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksperimental semu (quasi experiment) dengan bentuk Post-Test Only Control Group Design. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan random sampling, kelas XI IPA 1 sebagai kelas kontrol dan XI IPA 3 sebagai kelas eksperimen. Data diperoleh melalui tes pilihan ganda untuk mengukur kemampuan kognitif dan lembar observasi untuk mengukur kemampuan psikomotor. Didapatkan nilai rata-rata ranah kognitif pada kelas kontrol sebesar 53, 33 sedangkan kelas eksperimen sebesar 81,50 yang terdapat selisih nilai (gap) sebesar 29,2 dan juga peningkatan nilai rata-rata ranah psikomotor pada kelas kontrol 77,67 sedangkan kelas eksperimen sebesar 87 yang terdapat selisih nilai (gap) sebesar 9,33 setelah mendapatkan perlakuan menggunakan media pembelajaran komik praktikum biologi.
