Abstract
Introduction: Data obtained from the ministry of health in Banten Provincial shows that there are still many Covid-19 cases. The highest number of Covid-19 infection occurs in health workers where this is related to high-risk work. To overcome this problem, PPE is needed to protect themselves. Compliance of medical personnel in using PPE when handling Covid-19 cases greatly affects personal safety. For that reason, researcher wants to find out more about this in Banten Province which is focused on Cilegon City Regional Public Hospital. Method: This research will be conducted at the Cilegon City Regional Public Hospital on March 2023 with a total sample of 70 respondents and 30 respondents to test the validity and reliability. This research uses observational analytic method with cross sectional research design. The sampling technique used in this study is purposive sampling with questionnaires and observation as measuring instrument. Result: The results of the relationship between adherence to the use of PPE and the history of Covid-19 infection (p = 0.515), the relationship between behavior and the history of Covid-19 infection (p = 0.080), the relationship between adherence to the use of PPE and the frequency of history of Covid-19 infection (p = 0.573), and the relationship behavior on the frequency of history of Covid-19 infection (p = 0.311). Conclusion: There is no relationship between adherence and changes in behavior with the incidence of Covid-19 cases in doctors and nurses at Cilegon City Regional Public Hospital. | Additional Information: | Latar Belakang: Data dari dinas kesehatan Provinsi Banten menunjukkan masih terdapat banyak kasus Covid-19. Jumlah infeksi tertinggi Covid-19 terjadi pada dokter dan perawat di mana hal ini berkaitan dengan pekerjaan yang berisiko tinggi. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut maka diperlukannya APD untuk melindungi diri. Kepatuhan dokter dan perawat dalam pemakaian APD saat menangani kasus Covid-19 sangat mempengaruhi keselamatan diri. Dengan alasan itulah, peneliti ingin mencari tahu lebih lanjut mengenai hal ini di Provinsi Banten yang difokuskan pada RSUD Kota Cilegon. Metode: Penelitian ini dilakukan di RSUD Kota Cilegon pada bulan Maret 2023 dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 70 responden serta 30 responden untuk pengujian validitas dan reabilitas. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analitik observasional dengan desain penelitian cross sectional. Teknik sampling yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah purposive sampling dengan alat ukur kuesioner dan observasi. Hasil: Hasil hubungan kepatuhan penggunaan APD terhadap riwayat infeksi Covid-19 (p = 0,515), hubungan perilaku terhadap riwayat infeksi Covid-19 (p = 0,080), hubungan kepatuhan penggunaan APD terhadap frekuensi riwayat infeksi Covid-19 (p = 0,573), dan hubungan perilaku terhadap frekuensi riwayat infeksi Covid-19 (p = 0,311). Kesimpulan: Tidak terdapat hubungan antara kepatuhan dan perubahan perilaku dengan kejadian kasus Covid-19 pada dokter dan perawat di RSUD Kota Cilegon. | |||||||||
