Abstract

The effect of earnings per share, current ratio, inflation, and exchange rates on Islamic stock prices: empirical evidence of healthcare sector stocks listed on ISSI before and during the Covid-19 pandemic is the title of a thesis from Windi Lukiawati (5554190021), a student of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University, Faculty of Economics and Business, Department of Islamic Economics under the guidance of Tenny Badina, SE., Ak., ME.CA as supervisor I and Ahmad Fatoni, SE.Sy, M.E.K as supervisor II. The purpose of this study is to determine how the effect of earnings per share, current ratio, inflation, and exchange rates on stock prices as well as to compare whether there are differences in stock prices between before and during the Covid-19 pandemic. In this study the methods used were descriptive, associative, and comparative methods. The samples used were 14 healthcare sector companies registered with ISSI using the purposive sampling method. To facilitate the implementation of calculations using Microsoft Office Excel, Eviews 10 and SPSS 23 tools. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the effect of earnings per share, current ratio, inflation, and rupiah exchange rate on stock prices using multiple regression equations LNYit = -40.32546 + 0.002196 X1 + 0.043208 X2 - 8.594766 X3 + 4.963637 LNX4 + E. The value of the determiation coefficient of 13.13% means that it shows the magnitude of the influence of earnings per share, current ratio, inflation, and the rupiah exchange rate on stock prices, while the remaining 86.87% is influenced by other factors outside of the variables studied. The results of the T test show that there is a significant influence between earnings per share on stock prices, while the current ratio, inflation, and exchange rate do not have a significant effect on stock prices. And the results of the F test are known that Fcalculate > Ftabel (3.079252 > 2.553) can be concluded that the variables of earnings per share, current ratio, inflation, and the rupiah exchange rate have a significant effect on stock prices in healthcare companies listed on the Indonesian Sharia Stock Index (ISSI).
