Abstract

This study was to determine (1) The implementation of transformative learning in equality education Package C (2) Changes in the mindset of learning citizens Package C as a result of transformative learning (3) Changes in the behaviour of learning citizens Package C as a result of transformative learning. In this study, researchers used descriptive methods with a qualitative approach and in data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Respondents in this study were 1 manager, 1 tutor, and 10 learning citizens of Package C at PKBM Cipta Cendekia Tangerang City. The results of the research that has been conducted show that (1) The implementation of transformative learning carried out by tutors is carried out through several forms of activities, namely ice breaking, collaborating learning methods in the form of games, presenting different points of view, tutors pay special attention to learning citizens, tutors criticise problems, form a team or group to make mind mapping, provide independent and group assignments, quizzes, presentations, discussions, form discussion groups, follow up discussions, provide opportunities to convey new opinions. (2) The results of changes in the mindset of Package C learners, namely changes in perspective, understanding of themselves related to priorities between school and work, seeking additional information and re-learning material, increased motivation, a sense of optimism. (3) The results of changes in the behaviour of Package C learners, namely the attendance of learners, an attitude of responsibility, learners do not want to repeat the mistakes of actions that have been done in the past, learners are more respectful of tutors, and the involvement of learners in learning activities in class.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) Pelaksanaan pembelajaran transformatif pada pendidikan kesetaraan Paket C (2) Perubahan pola pikir warga belajar Paket C sebagai hasil pembelajaran transformatif (3) Perubahan perilaku warga belajar Paket C sebagai hasil pembelajaran transformatif. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan dalam teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Responden dalam penelitian ini yaitu 1 pengelola, 1 tutor, dan 10 warga belajar Paket C di PKBM Cipta Cendekia Kota Tangerang. Hasil penelitian yang sudah dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa (1) Pelaksanaan pembelajaran transformatif yang dilakukan oleh tutor dilakukan melalui beberapa bentuk kegiatan, yaitu ice breaking, mengkolaborasi metode pembelajaran berupa games, menyajikan sudut pandang yang berbeda, tutor memberikan perhatian khusus kepada warga belajar, tutor mengkritisi persoalan, membentuk sebuah tim atau kelompok untuk membuat mind mapping, memberikan penugasan mandiri dan kelompok, kuis, presentasi, diskusi, membentuk kelompok diskusi, menindaklanjuti diskusi, memberikan kesempatan untuk menyampaikan pendapat baru. (2) Hasil perubahan pola pikir warga belajar Paket C yaitu perubahan cara pandang, pemahaman terhadap diri terkait prioritas antara sekolah dan bekerja, mencari informasi tambahan dan mempelajari kembali materi, peningkatan motivasi, rasa optimis. (3) Hasil perubahan perilaku warga belajar Paket C yaitu kehadiran warga belajar, sikap bertanggung jawab, warga belajar tidak ingin mengulangi kesalahan tindakan yang pernah dilakukan dahulu, warga belajar lebih menghargai tutor, dan keterlibatan warga belajar dalam kegiatan belajar di kelas.
