Abstract

ANALYSIS OF PRODUCTIVITY MEASUREMENT WITHOBJECTIVE METHODS MATRIX (OMAX) IN THE PRODUCTION DIVISION PT. XYZ Muhammad Ramadan guided by Putiri Bhuana Katili, Nuraida Wahyuni ABSTRACT PT. XYZ is a company engaged in the industrial sector of drinks, according toproduction data for the year 2013 there is a mismatch between the target and theachievement of production where the most common problem is a problem that isstill less than optimal productivity, the amount produced and the amount of eachresource that is used during the production takes place not comparable. Thepurpose of this study is to determine the criteria used in analyzing productivityproductivity Production Division, Production Division productivity measure usingthe OMAX and designing the proposed improvements to increase productivity byusing fishbone diagrams and 5W + H. The method used for measuring theproductivity of the method Objective Matrix (OMAX). From the data that hasbeen processed showed productivity There are three criteria used are: the criteriaof efficiency is the ratio of 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 9. The criteria for effectiveness is theratio of 1. And inferential criteria, namely the ratio of 7 and 8. Based on theresults of the measurement of productivity Objective Matrix method, note that theachievement of productivity for each period has increased or decreased. Periodhas increased from the previous period is the period of February 2013 at 0241,March 2013 amounted to 0251, April 2013 amounted to 0802, in July 2013amounted to 0.362333, 1.446333 for September 2013 and December 2013 by2628. As for the period decreased productivity achievements of the previousperiod is the period of May 2013 amounted to 0.19067, June 2013 amounted to0.069663, 0.657333 of August 2013, October 2013 and November 2013 amountedto 0.320333 for 1676. Productivity should be improved based on the ratio that hasthe mostscore below standard and has a great weight is the ratio of output to theproposed design improvements as follows: Conduct oversight or inspection of theoperator, to build a more structured planning scheduling, Tells plan productiontargets to be implemented to the operator, provide the operator feel comfortableearplug and not feel noisy, and Perform engine maintenance for 2 weeksconsidering the condition of the engine is old. XYZ merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak disektor industri minuman,menurut data produksi selama tahun 2013 terdapat ketidaksesuaian antara targetpencapaian dan hasil produksi dimana masalah yang seringterjadi adalah masalahproduktivitas yang masih kurang optimal, yaitu jumlah yang dihasilkan danjumlah setiap sumber yang dipergunakan selama produksi berlangsung tidaksebanding. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu menentukan kriteria produktivitas yangdigunakan dalam menganalisa produktivitas Divisi Produksi, mengukurproduktivitas Divisi Produksi dengan menggunakan metode OMAX danmerancang usulan perbaikan untuk meningkatkan produktivitas denganmenggunakan diagram fishbone dan 5W+H. Adapun metode yang digunakanuntuk pengukuran produktivitas yaitu metode Objective Matrix (OMAX). Daridata yang telah diolah didapatkan hasil Terdapat 3 kriteria produktivitas yangdigunakan yaitu : Kriteria efisiensi yaitu rasio 2, 3, 4 5, 6 dan 9. Kriteriaefektivitas yaitu rasio 1. Dan kriteria inferensial yaitu rasio 7 dan 8. Berdasarkanhasil dari pengukuran produktivitas menggunakan metode Objective Matrix,diketahui bahwa pencapaian prestasi produktivitas untuk setiap periodemengalami peningkatan maupun penurunan. Periode yang mengalamipeningkatan dari periode sebelumnya yaitu periode Februari 2013 sebesar 0.241,Maret2013 sebesar 0.251, April2013 sebesar0.802, Juli2013 sebesar0.362333,September2013 sebesar1.446333 dan Desember2013 sebesar2.628. Sedangkanuntuk periode yang mengalami penurunan pencapaian prestasi produktivitas dariperiode sebelumnya yaitu periode Mei 2013 sebesar 0.19067, Juni2013 sebesar0.069663, Agustus2013 sebesar 0.657333, Oktober 2013sebesar 0.320333 danNovember 2013 sebesar 1.676.Produktivitas yang harus diperbaiki berdasarkanrasio yang paling banyak memiliki skor dibawah standar serta memiliki bobotyang besar yaitu rasio hasil produksi dengan usulan perancangan perbaikansebagai berikut: Melakukan pengawasan atau inspeksi terhadap operator,Membuatperencanaan penjadwalan yang lebih terstruktur, Memberitahukan rencana targetproduksi yang akan dilaksanakan kepada operator,Memberikanearplugagar operator merasakan nyaman dan tidak merasa bising, dan Melakukan perawatan mesin selama 2minggu sekali mengingat kondisi mesin yang sudah tua.
