Abstract
PROSPECTS OF LOCAL FOOD AGRIBUSINESS DEVELOP-MENT KUMBILI (BLACK POTATO) Solanum rotundifolius AS ALTERNATIVE FOOD SOURCES OF CARBOHYDRATES IN PANDEGLANG REGENCY. INES SEPTIANINGSIH Local food is food that is consumed by local people in accordance with the potential and local wisdom that characterizes an area. Kumbili as a local commodity in Pandeglang Regency has a carbohydrate content that is not inferior to rice so that it can be used as a type of local food that can be developed as an alternative food that has high potential to be developed as well as a medicinal plant. The purpose of this study was to examine the mechanism of each agribusiness subsystem and the prospects for developing kumbili farming as an alternative food in terms of farming analysis. This type of research is survey research, collecting data through interviews using questionnaires. Processing techniques and data analysis using the calculation of production costs, revenues and revenues, break-even point and R/C ratio. The results of the analysis show that the agribusiness subsystem consists of 5 subsystems, namely the procurement of production facilities subsystem consisting of seeds, agricultural equipment, fertilizers and pesticides. The production subsystem in the form of farming cultivation processes includes seed preparation, land management, planting, maintenance, harvesting and post-harvesting. The subsystem for processing agricultural products has not yet worked because the kumbili produced are sold in the form of tubers. The marketing subsystem consists of marketing agencies and channels. The supporting subsystem consists of farmer groups and agricultural extension workers. There are no cooperative institutions or banks as financial institutions that help farmers with capital. Cumbili farming has good prospects in terms of income and is profitable and feasible to develop because it has an R/C ratio of 3.18. The total costs incurred Rp. 8,830,639, total receipts of Rp. 28,123,333 total income Rp. 19,292,694. BEP revenue Rp. 640.453,33 BEP selling price Rp. 1,819 per kilogram. INES SEPTIANINGSIH Pangan lokal merupakan makanan yang dikonsumsi oleh masyarakat setempat sesuai dengan potensi dan kearifan lokal yang menjadi ciri khas suatu daerah. Kumbili sebagai komoditas lokal di Kabupaten Pandeglang memiliki kandungan karbohidrat yang tidak kalah dengan beras sehingga dapat dijadikan jenis pangan lokal yang dapat dikembangkan sebagai pangan alternatif mempunyai potensi tinggi untuk dikembangkan juga berpotensi menjadi tanaman penghasil obat-obatan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengkaji mekanisme masing-masing subsistem agribisnis dan prospek pengembangan usahatani kumbili sebagai pangan alternatif ditinjau dari analisis usahatani. Jenis penelitian yaitu penelitian survei, pengumpulan data melalui wawancara menggunakan kuisioner. Teknik pengolahan dan analisis data menggunakan perhitungan biaya produksi, penerimaan dan pendapatan, titik impas dan R/C ratio. Hasil analisis menunjukan subsistem agribisnis terdiri dari 5 subsistem yaitu subsistem pengadaan sarana produksi terdiri dari bibit, alat-alat pertanian, pupuk dan pestisida. Subsistem produksi berupa proses budidaya usahatani meliputi penyiapan bibit, pengolahan lahan, penanaman, pemeliharaan, panen dan pasca panen. Subsistem pengolahan hasil pertanian belum berjalan karena kumbili yang dihasilkan dijual masih berbentuk umbi. Subsistem pemasaran terdiri dari lembaga dan saluran pemasaran. Subsistem penunjang terdiri dari kelompok tani dan penyuluh pertanian, belum ada lembaga koperasi atau Bank sebagai lembaga keuangan yang membantu petani dalam permodalan. Usahatani kumbili memiliki prospek yang baik dari segi pendapatan dan menguntungkan serta layak dikembangkan karena mempunyai nilai R/C ratio 3,18. Total biaya yang dikeluarkan Rp. 8.830.639, total penerimaan Rp. 28.123.333 total pendapatan Rp. 19.292.694. BEP penerimaan Rp. 640.453,33 BEP harga jual Rp. 1.819 per kilogram.
