Abstract
The process of releasing a baby who is full-term and can live outside the uterus is called childbirth. This study aims to determine nursing care for knowledge deficits in post sectio caesarea patients with indications of breech position with self-care education measures. Sectio caesarea is an artificial birth where the fetus is removed through an incision or surgery on the front abdominal wall and uterine wall (Astriana, 2019). The research design is a case study using two subjects. The instruments used in this study were nursing assessment sheets, nursing diagnoses, planning, nursing actions, evaluations, and leaflets. At the time of the study, the authors obtained data from 2 postsectio caesarea patients who did not understand self-care. In this study, a nursing diagnosis was found, namely knowledge deficit associated with a lack of knowledge about self-care. Nursing interventions that can be carried out are by providing self-care education which aims to increase patient knowledge about self-care. In carrying out self-care education actions run smoothly and the problem of nursing knowledge deficits can be resolved, this can occur because patients are cooperative and able to work together and can understand well the education provided.

| Additional Information: | Proses keluarnya bayi yang sudah cukup bulan serta dapat hidup diluar Rahim disebut dengan persalinan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui asuhan keperawatan deficit pengetahuan pada pasien post sectio caesarea atas indikasi letak sungsang dengan tindakan edukasi perawatan diri. Sectio caesarea yaitu persalinan buatan dimana janin dikeluarkan melalui insisi atau pembedahan pada dinding perut bagian depan serta dinding Rahim (Astriana, 2019). Desain penelitian ini merupakan studi kasus dengan menggunakan dua subjek. Instrument yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu lembar pengkajian keperawatan, diagnosa kperawatan, perencanaan,, tindakan keperawatan, evaluasi, dan leaflet. Pada saat pengkajian penulis mendapatkan data dari 2 pasien post sectio caesarea yang belum memahami tentang perawatan diri, pada penelitian ini ditemukan diagnosa keperawatan yaitu defisit pengetahuan berhubungan dengan kurangnya pengetahuan tentang perawatan diri. Intervensi keperawatan yang dapat dilakukan yaitu dengan pemberian edukasi perawatan diri yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan pasien tentang perawatan diri. Dalam melakukan tindakan edukasi perawatan diri berjalan dengan lancar dan masalah keperawatan defisit pengetahuan dapat teratasi, hal ini dapat terjadi karena pasien kooperatif dan mampu bekerja sama serta dapat memahami dengan baik edukasi yang diberikan. | |||||||||
