Abstract
Diarrhea is the discharge of abnormal and liquid stools, diarrhea is also defined as defecation which is more frequent than usual and the consistency of the stool turns liquid (Kharanah & Sari, 2016). Globally, cases of diarrheal disease are experienced by nearly 1.7 billion children every year (WHO, 2018 in Darti, 2019). At the Banten Provincial Hospital, there were 62 cases of diarrhea recorded in 2020, and then there will be an increase to 82 cases in 2021. This research uses a descriptive research method in the form of a case study with a nursing care approach which includes assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation. The research subjects in this case study were 2 patients who experienced diarrhea with hypovolemia problems. Implementation to overcome the problems of the two patients is to perform fluid resuscitation.

| Additional Information: | Diare adalah pengeluaran fases yang tidak normal dan cair,diare juga didefinisikan sebagai buang air besar yang jumlah frekuensinya lebih banyak dari biasanya dan konsistensi tinja berubah menjadi cair (khasanah & Sari,2016). Secara global kasus penyakit diare dialami oleh hampir 1,7 miliar anak-anak setiap tahun (WHO, 2018 dalam Darti, 2019). Di RSUD Provinsi Banten, tercatat sebanyak 62 kasus diare pada tahun 2020, dan kemudian terjadi peningkatan menjadi 82 kasus pada tahun 2021. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif dalam bentuk studi kasus dengan pendekatan asuhan keperawatan yang meliputi pengkajian, diagnosa keperawatan, perencanaan, implementasi serta evaluasi. Subjek penelitian dalam studi kasus ini yaitu 2 orang pasien yang mengalami diare dengan masalah hipovolemia. Implementasi untuk mengatasi masalah kedua pasien adalah dengan melakukan resusitasi cairan. | |||||||||
