Abstract
WHO in 2020 stated that currently there are around 235 million asthma patients in the world. More than 80% of deaths from asthma occur in low- and lower-middle-income countries and 4.5% of Indonesia's population suffers from asthma. The general goal is to be able to carry out ineffective airway clearance nursing care in bronchial asthma patients by administering nebulizer therapy at Banten Provincial Hospital. Bronchial asthma is a respiratory disease that is often found in society. The respiratory tract reacts by narrowing and blocking air from entering the lungs causing clinical manifestations resulting in ineffective airway clearance problems. In an asthma attack, the most appropriate therapy to help the airway so that it is patent is to use nebulizer therapy to restore the condition of bronchial spasms and to thin and facilitate discharge of secretions. The research design used the case study method, the participants in this case were 2 bronchial asthma clients with ineffective airway clearance problems. The results of the case report found that Mrs. S said shortness of breath and difficult to secrete, while Mrs. A said shortness of breath and difficult to secrete. The interventions carried out were performing nebulizer therapy and performing effective coughing. After implementation for 3 days the problem of ineffective airway clearance can be resolved.

| Additional Information: | WHO tahun 2020 mengemukakan bahwa saat ini sekitar 235 juta jumlah pasien asma didunia. Lebih dari 80% kematian akibat asma terjadi di negara berpenghasilan rendah dan menengah ke bawah dan 4.5% penduduk Indonesia menderita asma. Tujuan umum mampu melaksanakan asuhan keperawatan bersihan jalan nafas tidak efektif pada pasien asma bronkial dengan tindakan pemberian terapi nebulizer di RSUD Provinsi Banten. Asma bronkhial merupakan salah satu penyakit saluran pernapasan yang banyak dijumpai di masyarakat. Saluran pernapasan tersebut bereaksi mengalami penyempitan dan menghalangi udara yang masuk kedalam paru-paru sampai menimbulkan manifestasi klinis sehingga muncul masalah bersihan jalan napas tidak efektif. Pada serangan asma terapi yang paling tepat untuk membantu jalan nafas agar paten adalah menggunakan terapi nebulizer untuk mengembalikan kondisi spasme bronkus dan mengencerkan serta memudahkan pengeluaran sekret. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kasus, partisipan pada kasus ini dilakukan pada 2 klien asma bronkhial dengan masalah bersihan jalan napas tidak efektif. Hasil laporan kasus ditemukan data Ny. S mengatakan sesak napas dan sulit mengeluarkan secret, sedangkan Ny. A mengatakan sesak napas dan sulit mengeluarkan secret. Intervensi yang dilakukan adalah melakukan tindakan pemberian terapi nebulizer dan melakukan batuk efektif. Setelah dilakukan implementasi selama 3 hari masalah bersihan jalan napas tidak efektif dapat teratasi. | |||||||||
