Abstract

His research is motivated by the condition of educators who use existing worksheets that only emphasize formulas, not giving students the opportunity to be able to find the concept of a material independently. The choice of method in each learning activity must be appropriate. The learning method must create active interaction between students and students and students with learning objects. One of the learning methods that educators can choose and develop is the Problem Based Learning (PBL) method. PBL is a learning approach that starts with solving a problem, but to solve that problem students need new knowledge to be able to solve it. The results of the study conclude that there is an influence on the development of Problem Based Learning Student Activity Sheets (LKPD) on the ability to understand mathematical concepts.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh keadaan pendidik yang menggunakan LKPD yang ada hanya menekankan pada rumus tidak memberikan kesempatan peserta didik untuk dapat menemukan konsep dari suatu materi secara mandiri. Pemilihan metode di setiap kegiatan belajar haruslah tepat. Metode pembelajaran harus menciptakan interaksi secara aktif antara peserta didik dengan peserta didik maupun peserta didik dengan objek belajar. Salah satu metode pembelajaran yang dapat dipilih dan dikembangkan oleh pendidik adalah metode Problem Based Learning (PBL). PBL adalah suatu pendekatan pembelajaran yang dimulai dengan menyelesaikan suatu masalah, tetapi untuk menyelesaikan masalah itu peserta didik memerlukan pengetahuan baru untuk dapat menyelesaikannya. Hasil penelitian memberikan kesimpulan bahwa terdapat pengaruh pengembangan Lembar Kegiatan Peserta Didik (LKPD) berbasis Problem Based Learning terhadap kemampuan Pemahaman konsep Matematis.
