Abstract

One of the supporting factors for achieving learning objectives is teaching materials. Good teaching materials can encourage students' comprehension skills. But in fact, there are still many teaching materials that are less varied so that they are less effective in supporting learning activities and making students consider chemical materials difficult. This causes a gap between factual learning and the learning expected by the 2013 Curriculum. The use of e-Modules as an implementation of the use of information technology (IT) developments is one of the right steps to deal with these problems. The purpose of this study is to provide solutions to the problems of acid and base concepts that are poorly understood by students by integrating indicators of understanding concepts and developments in science and technology, as well as knowing students' responses to the e-Module. The E-Module developed is prepared by following the stages of the ADDIE development model which consists of five stages, including analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The E-Module was tested on 33 students of grade XI MIPA 4 SMA Negeri 1 Kadugede. From the results of validation and student responses, it was concluded that the integrated e-Module of the ability to understand concepts using Office OneNote was declared valid and obtained material and media validity of 0.86 and an average percentage of student responses of 91.42% so that it included very good criteria.

Additional Information: Salah satu factor penunjang tercapainya tujuan pembelajaran ialah bahan ajar. Bahan ajar yang baik dapat mendorong kemampuan pemahaman siswa. Namun faktanya, masih banyak bahan ajar yang kurang variatif sehingga kurang efektif untuk menunjang kegiatan pembelajaran dan membuat siswa menganggap sulit materi kimia. Hal tersebut menyebabkan terjadinya kesenjangan antara pembelajaran factual dengan pembelajaran yang diharapkan oleh Kurikulum 2013. Penggunaan e-Modul sebagai implementasi pemanfaatan perkembangan teknologi informasi (TI) merupakan salah satu langkah yang tepat untuk menangani permasalahan tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk memberikan solusi dari permasalahan konsep asam dan basa yang kurang dipahami oleh siswa dengan cara mengintegrasikan indikator pemahaman konsep dan perkembangan IPTEK, serta mengetahui respon siswa pada e-Modul tersebut. E-Modul yang dikembangkan disusun denga mengikuti tahapan model pengembangan ADDIE yang terdiri dari lima tahapan, diantaranya ialah analisis (analyze), perancangan (design), pengembangan (development), implementasi (implement), dan evaluasi (evaluate). E-Modul diujicobakan pada 33 siswa kelas XI MIPA 4 SMA Negeri 1 Kadugede. Dari hasil validasi serta respon siswa, disimpulkan bahwa e-Modul terintegrasi kemampuan pemahaman konsep menggunakan office onenote dinyatakan valid dan memperoleh validitas materi dan media sebesar 0,86 dan rata-rata persentase respon peserta didik 91,42% sehingga termasuk kriteria sangat baik.
