Abstract

In order to make students more interested in understanding the concept of chemical reaction rate, it is necessary to use an effective learning model to connect between the concept they have and the phenomena being studied in everyday life. One of these phenomena is environmental problems so that the green chemistry approach can be incorporated into the reaction rate material. To ensure student learning outcomes and reactions to the reaction rate material, this research was conducted using the Problem Based Learning learning paradigm and the green chemistry methodology. The research design was carried out with One Group Pretest-Postest, namely by looking at the differences in the results of the Pretest and Posttest in the class studied. The results showed that: (1) the results of the Paired Sample Test obtained a Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000 <0.05, so there is an average difference between the learning outcomes of the Pre-Test and Post-Test. (2) the results of the N-Gain test get an N-Gain Score (%) of 70.97 or 71%, so the use of the PBL model with the GSC approach is quite effective in increasing learning outcomes in the subject of reaction rate in grade 11 students of SMAN 1 Mandirancan. (3) the results of calculating student responses obtained the percentage of student response questionnaire results for each indicator, for indicators of interest 83.75%, indicators of motivation 85.83%, response indicators 89.16%, assessment indicators 86.25%, satisfaction indicators 87, 91% so that the use of the Problem Based Learning learning model with the Green and Sustainable Chemistry approach gets a very good response from students. Additional Information: Cara agar siswa lebih tertarik dalam memahami konsep pada materi kimia laju reaksi perlu digunakan model pembelajaran yang efektif untuk menghubungkan antara konsep yang dimiliki dengan fenomena yang sedang dipelajari dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Salah satu fenomena tersebut seperti masalah lingkungan sehingga pendekatan green chemistry bisa dimasukan ke dalam materi laju reaksi. Untuk memastikan hasil belajar dan reaksi siswa terhadap materi laju reaksi, penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan paradigma pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dan metodologi green chemistry. Desain penelitian ini dilakukan dengan One Group Pretest-Postest yaitu dengan melihat perbedaan hasil Pretest dan Postest pada kelas yang diteliti. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: (1) hasil uji Paired Sample Test mendapatkan nilai Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 maka terdapat perbedaan rata-rata antara hasil belajar Pre-Test dengan Post-Test. (2) hasil uji N-Gain mendapatkan nilai N-Gain Score (%) sebesar 70,97 atau 71% maka penggunaan model PBL dengan pendekatan GSC cukup efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar dalam mata pelajaran laju reaksi pada siswa kelas 11 SMAN 1 Mandirancan. (3) hasil perhitungan respon siswa diperoleh presentase hasil angket respon siswa pada tiap indikatornya, untuk indikator minat 83,75% , indikator motivasi 85,83%, indikator tanggapan 89,16%, indikator penilaian 86,25% , indikator kepuasan 87,91% sehingga penggunaan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dengan pendekan Green and Sustainable Chemistry mendapatkan respon yang sangat baik dari siswa.
