Abstract
Mathematical literacy is one of the abilities to apply mathematics in real life. In mathematics learning, real problems are expressed in the form of story problems. The first step to solve the real problem is to read the problem in order to obtain the information needed. After that, students try to find which mathematical concepts are in accordance with the problems found and model them into mathematical language. Then students with their knowledge and experience try to solve the problem with the strategy they understand. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of understanding mathematical concepts and reading interest on mathematical literacy skills simultaneously in 11th grade students of MAN 1 Serang City in the 2021/2022 academic year. The research method used is quantitative method with correlational analysis and multiple linear regression. The instruments used are tests and non-test instrument. The results of the analysis obtained are that there is a positive and significant effect simultaneously between understanding mathematical concepts and reading interest on mathematical literacy skills. The multiple correlation coefficient obtained is 0.658 which means that the effect of understanding mathematical concepts and asking to read simultaneously on mathematical literacy skills is 43%. The remaining 53% is influenced by other factors not examined.

| Additional Information: | Literasi matematika merupakan salah satu kemampuan untuk mengapilkasikan matematika dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Pada pembelajaran matematika, masalah nyata dituangkan dalam bentuk soal cerita. Langkah awal untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan nyata tersebut adalah membaca permasalahan agar dapat memperoleh informasi yang dibutuhkan. Setelah itu, siswa mencoba mencari konsep matematika yang sesuai dengan permasalahan yang ditemukan serta memodelkannya ke dalam bahasa matematika. Barulah siswa dengan pengetahuan dan pengalamannya mencoba menyelesaikan permasalahan dengan strategi yang ia pahami. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemahaman konsep matematika dan minat baca terhadap kemampuan literasi matematika secara simultan pada siswa kelas XI MAN 1 Kota Serang tahun ajaran 2021/2022. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan analisis korelasional dan regresi linier berganda. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah instrumen tes dan non tes. Hasil analisis yang didapat adalah terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan secara simultan antara pemahaman konsep matematika dan minta baca terhadap kemampuan literasi matematika. Koefisien korelasi ganda yang didapat sebesar 0,658 yang berarti besarnya pengaruh pemahaman konsep matematika dan minat baca secara simultan terhadap kemampuan literasi matematika sebesar 43%. Sisanya yakni 53% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak diteliti. | |||||||||
